Excellent value for the money. Convenient location, helpful staff. A pool within reach of the hotel’s bar and restaurant. Parking is a somewhat pricey add-on, but worth the convenience given how hard it is to park in the immediate area.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Great location with a lot to do within walking distance or a short drive/uber ride. The bathroom situation was something new for me but a better experience than I expected. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner but overall not bad. I enjoyed the pool and appreciated the provided floats. I would definitely stay here again.

Room.was clean. One toilet was blocked up when I arrived and didnt get cleared until the morning. Nice position out of downtown but not too far east.

Had a great stay at East Austin Hotel. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite from start to finish. They even helped me with my luggage after checkout, which I really appreciated. The restrooms and overall property were very clean, and the location was perfect with everything nearby. The whole area felt welcoming and easy to get around. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m back in Austin.

I would like to see better coordination between the restaurant and hotel. I really like the high quality radio in the room. Austin has wonderful radio stations and it brings it directly to the the guest.

The day was great. Everything was perfect. The staff was very courteous. I do not like that. There is not an elevator that goes to the third floor, but that is not a dealbreaker. I will definitely be back.

Check in, sleep, check out was perfect. You are on a bar street so it could possibly be loud for you until 2a unless you are out on the town yourself. We were outside as well so it did not affect us. Overall a great hotel and nice spot with a good selection of food in walking distance. Will be staying again.

It grows on you. Great location if you want to experience east 6th. Rocking pool with happy hour. Nice restaurant with rooftop bar. Eclectic decor and gift shop. Overall, very fun. Was not disappointed, but half the hotel has hostel style private rooms with shared bath. Gated parking, secure entry. Interesting shops, nice walk to east Austin neighborhoods. Close to downtown and capital of Texas. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Shower shoes provided with robes.

Please read carefully, one portion of the property is a hostel and the other portion is a hotel. I accidently booked a hostel room, thankfully I was able to upgrade to a regular room. This is in east Austin, there is a lot of night life in this area, so do keep that in mind as well. I was grateful that I was able to upgrade my room, I understood the price discrepancy was my fault and didn't mind any increase in the price, I understood it was short notice. However there was unnecessary tension, the staff was not very helpful at all. Unfortunately, the location, and the staff made this a terrible place to stay at, would not recommend at all.

They double booked me, didnt have any other available rooms, so I had to find a new hotel. The hotel in general is very worn down and dirty.

Room was clean and nicely decorated. They provided a mini fridge which was super convenient. Wish there was more lighting options, just a lamp in the corner and a dim small light overhead. Huge windows with black out curtain which was nice. Bed was comfortable! The towels hang in your room which caused them to not dry very well, so that was the biggest downside. They were often damp 24 hours later which also caused the room to be a little humid inside. Outdoor seating options were great, great rooftop bar and seating area. Didn’t use pool but it seemed very nice! Parking was convenient (inside garage), but expensive so I often opted for street parking. Interactions with hotel lobby staff were okay, not super impressed with the customer service in person.

I stayed in the Cabins. And it was awesome! The room was sprayed with some type of cologne which was nice to smell upon entering it. It had robes and rubber sandals, but no ironing board or steamer. There was a safe though along with a Bluetooth clock stereo. The bed was more in the soft side but the pillows they had were extra fluffy. The bathrooms are in a shared space in the hallway, they’re are so clean and get cleaned regularly throughout the day. There’s garaged parking that does cost a separate fee but it is gated. There’s a couple restaurants connected to it. And it’s located in a convenient area with plenty bars, restaurants, coffee shops near. Loved it.

I loved everything about my stay at The Cabins at East Austin Hotel! The bathrooms are shared, but they are fully private with locking doors, and each bathroom has a private shower, sink, and commode. They even supply shower slides, robes, and baskets to carry towels and toiletries from your room to and from the bathrooms. It was just like staying in a bedroom in a house with the bathrooms down the hall. The room and bathrooms were spotless, the decor was cute, and everyone I encountered seemed happy to be there. The staff was also so accomdoating and friendly! Shout outs to Andrew, Destiny, Deigo, Abbi, Isabelle, and Miranda!! And to top it off, this hotel's location is perfect. It's conveniently located on 6th street, close enough to walk to downtown bars, restaurants, and venues, but away from the noise for a peaceful night's sleep. They also have a new onsite restaurant, Poeta, that has AMAZING cuisine, and every hotel guest is provided with a $10 daily dining credit voucher. This was such a cool Austin experience! Oh, and if you arent into the shared bathrooms, they have plenty of rooms with en suite bathrooms as well, listed seperately. I will defintely be back in the summer to enjoy their beautiful swimming pool!
