Great location! Easy to get to, but tucked back in a nice quiet neighborhood. Stayed here to go to ACL. You could get there as a long walk or a short walk rideshare combo.House was in great shape. Had everything we needed. Nice patio to relax and hang out on and pool if you wanna cool off. Tons of beds. Great layout for big groups.

This place needs some SERIOUS decluttering! Past guests have left things that were never picked up such as old flip flops, half empty bottles of booze and tons of open condiments and fast-food packets. The refrigerator was dirty with drips in the drawers. The bathmats looked filthy. The yard is extremely overgrown. The appliances did work, and we had plenty of room. Many beds were not comfortable especially the hid-a-bed in the game room. Two of the kitchen cabinets were full of recycle trash - egg cartons, used K-cups, etc. The pool had some green growing in it, but the yard is nice and shaded. Maybe this place would suit a group of bachelors, but it was not nice at all to a group of grown, mature women. I'd call it a junky mess! The good news: The host Eugene is VERY responsive, cooperative and helpful. We did not contact him regarding the cluttered mess and filth because we did not think it was possible to take care of the problem within our short weekend stay. We made the best if it and had a wonderful time together in spite of the conditions.

Really nice spot

It's a cool spot. The pool and the backyard are really nice, and there's plenty of neat stuff in the house. Pretty nice location as well, close to town but really spacious. My buddies and I had a really fun time.

Great stay, great host

We rented this property for our bachelor/bachelorette party, and it worked perfectly for us. 10 people stayed over, and we had about 20 people hanging out. Quiet, pretty neighborhood in a good location. Eugene is an excellent, attentive host, and he makes everything easy for you. Thanks, Eugene!

Great Stay!

We had a great stay here, with our group of 8 guys. The property is perfect for a getaway, offering a lot of space with all it's rooms which allowed everyone to sleep comfortably. We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard especially the pool. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Eugene made the process of checking in and out a breeze and was quick to reply with any questions we had. Highly recommend this oasis for a fun-filled time in Austin.

Great house for a fun group stay!

This house was perfect for our weekend birthday celebration! It had everything we and our party guests needed. The pool was lovely and shaded, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room was perfect for karaoke. We’d stay here again for our next group get-together!

Great Pool / Backyard Area

We had a good stay - the pool is fantastic and has natural tree cover and shade. Highly recommend if you are looking to spend time outside in the hot Austin summer. Rental is also close to downtown which is an added bonus.

Snowy Owl Oasis

Our family had an amazing stay in Eugene’s house! He communicated well and was quick to respond to messages. He went above and beyond our expectations when he picked up and delivered a rice cooker for us to use. The house is spacious and well laid out with a lot of different sleeping areas and sitting areas. The long dining table was great for seating all 12 of us. My boys also enjoyed the tent, hammock, swimming pool, and play set in the backyard. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay

My friends and I stayed at this property to view the eclipse in Austin. It is conveniently located to downtown in a peaceful suburb. Plenty of food options close by. The house was very well stocked with necessities and extra items which lend to having a good time with friends. Eugene was great at communicating and really wanted us to feel comfortable at his property. We didn't have tons of people stay, but there were so many areas where people could sleep or just hang out. We recommend this property and would definitely stay again if in the Austin area!

Great place to host a party

Threw a birthday party here for almost 30 people it went great. Eugene made it easy to focus on our event with a very friendly checkout times and policies, and fast communication. The yard and pool are mostly shaded, which made it surprisingly comfortable to be outside during sunny 100F weather. There are quite a few places to sit inside and out, though we brought a few more chairs for the pool. Eugene's home included convenient towels, coolers, outdoor lighting, indoor speakers, and some serverware. The bedrooms are all located upstairs and isolated from the main living area so people staying the night could store their belongings and have a private space away from other guests.

Perfect spot to celebrate

We had 10 women gather here to celebrate a bachelorette party, and I don't think we could have chosen a better spot. Eugene was one of the best hosts I've come into contact with, and went out of his way to check in daily on anything we could need. The house was fully stocked with fun bachelorette party supplies (and some snacks and coffee) and we made full use of the shaded pool area and outdoor dining space even in the heat of August!

Bachelorette trip

We had a party of 12 girls and this property accommodated all of us. We had so much fun by the pool. The owner was extremely helpful and was super nice when we locked ourselves outside. Overall the experience was amazing. Definitely recommend.

Long weekend stay

Eugene couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating both with the upfront booking as well as once we arrived in Austin. The house is better than advertised. Phenomenal backyard and pool area, spacious inside with lots of sleeping arrangements. In a nice quiet neighborhood but only 15min drive to downtown Austin. Highly highly recommend

Terrific graduation weekend home

We had a wonderful stay for our daughter’s graduation from UT Austin. Plenty of room for everyone. Three bedrooms have room for six people. Rest of beds in gym and common space. We felt like Eugene’s personal guests.

Great place in a nice neighborhood

Eugene is a great host. He was extremely friendly and made sure we had everything as needed at the Place. The place was very clean and is close to City with a quick uber ride. The neighborhood is really nice with some grocery stores and breakfast places close by. Definitely recommend to stay if you're considering a trip to Austin.

Great spot for a group!

I stayed at Eugene’s property for my bachelorette party, and it was perfect for us! Eugene was an excellent host, always making sure we were satisfied, and he was super quick to respond when I had a couple questions leading up to the stay. The backyard is definitely the biggest seller of the house, but there were also plenty of sleeping arrangements possible to make the stay great for all of us. Thanks Eugene for being so helpful and ensuring that your guests have an awesome stay!
