“Room was clean but property needs a little updating in areas. Restaurant staff were awesome but dinner menu limited. Breakfast was great. Lovely area, relaxing stay.”

“Clean, cosy cottage spacious lounge barhroom, living area, bedrooms and kitchens private outdoor area tranquil creek outside living room. Close walking distance to town short drive to wineries, yarra valley scenic drive and lake mountain Kitchen was not well equiped teflon pans very damaged not usable unfortunatly heater towel rail not working. great communication and staff that did room refresh service lovely and would recommend.”

“This property does not clearly point out that the rooms are very small and do not have individual bathrooms. Bathrooms are shared among 9 rooms; over 20 people sharing 3 toilets and showers!! The common areas were not particularly clean. This is simply a glorified hostel, not a proper guest house. Unacceptable for the price. Additionally, the area is very noisy and it was hard to sleep. One of the worst experiences of my life and I have travelled around the World.”

“Not awful but you just need to be aware of the shortcomings which are not really clear in the listing. Rooms have no windows and thus no natural light or ventilation. Walls are paper thin and the accommodation is part of a diving school so there is loud noise from about 6.00am with people upstairs walking above, doors slamming and people talking loudly in the hall. “We really enjoyed this beautiful, peaceful lodge. Breakfast was good and the hosts delightful. They shared a lot about the local history and culture. Don’t miss the historic rock art nearby.”

“Everyone there was warm and friendly. The room was beautiful and breakfast very nice. Centrally located for day trips. There aren’t really restaurants or groceries within walking distance if that’s important to you. Would definitely go back. Only down side is voices carry a bit so if you have a neighbor that’s not considerate you will hear them.”
