We had a great stay at this cute little house on Catalina Island! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was very convenient and walkable, which made it easy to get around and enjoy the island without needing transportation. It was a cozy and charming place to stay, and we really enjoyed our time there. We would definitely stay here again!

The place was nice and pretty clean. Close to everything and comfortable beds and clean linens. I tried to communicate with the host several times. Once for an early check in, and three times for a late checkout. I received no responses. If the answer was no that would have been fine, but nothing. I would stay here again bet I would lower my expectations on communication.

The layout of the house was perfect for a family of 5. It was spacious enough to enjoy and also perfect walking distance to the main strip and beach.

Wonderful cottage in an amazing location. Walk to everything. Super comfy beds and nice hot shower. Everything functions really well and we were thrilled to have a washer/dryer. Super easy to check in and out. Thanks for being a great host!

Great location, had everything we needed

The house was just as described. Great locations with just minutes to the ferry and Vons by foot, even an easy walk for a 7 year old. The house had all of the basics we needed and was quiet and safe. Would definitely recommend!

Too Cute

This cottage was perfect for our small family of five. Love the vaulted ceilings in the living room and the decor. It was nice to be able to access the keys on site and not have to deal with lines at a rental office.

A Cute Bungalow Close To It All

We spent Labor Day weekend at this house in Avalon. We are a family of 5, and the stay was very comfortable. My kids all slept well on the bunk bed and the couch (my son’s choice over the sleeper sofa). The location is perfect. Only steps to the center of Avalon. Would gladly stay here again.

Awesome house near the beach

Didn't take long to walk from the house to the main strip of shopping and food. Beach was the same distance, maybe a 5 minute walk to Vons. Great location, convenient as heck, and close enough we could walk to the house from the ferry.

Winter delight

So well decorated, furnished and clean! A perfect cottage for a couple or a small family. The location is very convenient to the center of Avalon. The windows all have nice curtains, which we mostly kept closed because it’s not very private at front or back, and side view is not lovely. (Can’t be helped given the location.) Rental company is also very good.

20th Anniversary

Home location is centrally located. easy to get to the market, restaurants and shops. Beds were very comfortable and the house well appointed. Use the toaster oven not the toaster (it burns even at the lowest setting). TV flippers don't work very well but there is so much to see and do the digital wasn't missed. Fun time. Would come back to this house again.

Great Getaway Spot

We had a wonderful time at this beach bungalow. I took my 20+-year-old daughters and daughter-in-law for a girls' weekend. The house was as it appears in the listing. The house is clean and has a lot of natural light which is nice, and the living room was comfortable for the 4 of us. The king-size bed was VERY comfortable. The bathroom is spacious--even for four women! The kitchen has everything you need. However, the coffee pot could really use an update/upgrade! The lid falls off and there are better, inexpensive coffee makers out there! The beach amenities could be in better shape/ quantity. I ended up buying and leaving a beach blanket for future guests, as there are no beach towels or blankets in the house. The location of the house is great--close to EVERYTHING. Keep in mind, though, that being in the center of everything also means it can get loud on the weekends. Other than those minor issues, this cozy little house is a great place to stay.

Location

Close to the center of activity but far enough away to not be noisy. Lovely clean house. Great communication with the management team who got us in earlier that expected to the house.
