Excelente, bien equipado, muy tranquilo, y cerca del Palacio de los Papas

Quedamos muy contentos del alojamiento, que es ideal para visitar el centro de Aviñón, y está perfectamente equipado. Las fotos reflejan la zona común de la vivienda que es excepcional. Quedamos muy contentos de la estancia, y la recomendamos.

We had a wonderful stay in Avignon. The apartment was in a great location in the old town close to many restaurants. Being on the top floor, it had great views from large windows looking out over the city. It was very bright, clean, and had a modern kitchen. Exactly as described.

Avignon old town review

The property was in a good location. The property does not have a/c or screens for the windows so can not leave windows open otherwise bugs get in. Owner should provide fans. Location to park car for free is 1 km away. Second bathroom is useless as water pressure is very low.

Perfect location.

Located just inside the city wall in a quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to city center and the popes palace. The apartment is very spacious, modern kitchen, dish and clothes washers. Good beds.

A mixed experience

The property is large, bright, in a distinguished building and a quiet location. We will remember that about it. We'll also remember a few other things. For one, the mosquitoes! The apartment was hot and stuffy, so we opened the windows (no screens). We were eaten alive by mosquitoes. So you have two choices: hot and stuffy, or wear DEET to bed. We also felt that we were viewed as a burden, certainly not as welcome guests. One example: We were told to take the garbage down to the street, three LONG flights down. We used our own garbage bag (none provided) and scoped out the location on Google Maps. When we returned, at 9:45, the cleaning lady had entered the apartment and told the other couple traveling with us that it was "time for them to leave." We were ready to do so -- our bags were packed and by the door -- and left the apartment well before 10:00. We were glad to go. While the apartment itself was nice, the experience was less so. We do not speak French beyond a few words, so that might have been the root of the hostility that we felt.

Sightseeing in Avignon

This property is perfect. Within walking distance to the town center. The property is very quiet and quaint. Very clean and well appointed. Having a washing machine was great. I highly recommend this property.

Lovely apartment in quiet part of Avignon.

Upon arrival the apartment is beautifully presented. It is very spacious and clean and stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The lounges are comfortable, the kitchen has everthing required for a self sustaining stay. With the windows open you get a lovely breeze through the apartment. The apartment is located is a quiet neighbourhood with amazing views of the popes palace. The only negative, as i have a bad back, is the beds and mattresses have no support and i suspect need to be updated. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

Tolle Lage, schöne Einrichtung, genügend Platz für alle!

Wir hatten vier schöne Tage in und um Avignon mit dieser tollen Wohnung! Die Lage ist perfekt, man ist direkt in der Stadt, hat aber abends trotzdem seine Ruhe... Die Wohnung war sauber und gepflegt und schön eingerichtet.

appartement très agréable, propre, spacieux, lumineux, aéré, avec sa triple exposition et ses belles vues, dans un bel immeuble ancien, parfaitement placé dans une rue calme, non loin du palais des papes, des musées et rues commerçantes. à noter que l'appartement se trouve au 3ème (et dernier) étage sans ascenseur. nous avons été bien accueillis par la propriétaire, merci !

Bel appartement avec la cuisine idéale

En plus d’avoir l’avantage d’être à proximité du centre d’Avignon, l’appartement est très spacieux et confortable. Petit défaut, la chaleur de l’après midi a tendance à s’inviter dans l’appartement et les portes d’entrées font souvent beaucoup de bruit lorsqu’elles se ferment.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful Dominque was and her gorgeous apartment walking distance from everything you want to see and do in Avignon. Fabulous Avignon Apartment- Highly Recommended

We had a lovely stay in this spacious and bright apartment in Avignon. It is tastefully decorated with a modern interior and old world charm. Located on a quiet street, it is still within easy walking distance of the Palais des Papes, restaurants and shops. Parking can easily be found on the street at a reasonable cost. Dominique is a very gracious and attentive host and we have no hesitation in recommending this apartment .
