“Living on Long Island for most of my life, and only really seeing stars once before, 33 years ago, I finally got to REALLY see stars again. We all had an amazing time. So much to see on the property that we hardly scraped what can be seen. I would need a real good ax and a month to get a good scope of the property. There was a nice spot to shoot too. Sucked picking up the brass, but it ain't my property, so we did and we got 98% of it up. Thanks Phil”

“ Very quiet spot, in spite of being close enough to walk into town. We didn’t use the car at all! We loved the ducks, the sounds of the loon, the deer in the backyard and the beautiful sunrises. “Property was excellent. The check in / out process was smooth and easy. The main living area was well set up. We spent a great deal of time chatting around the bar and table in the open concept set up, as well as on the spacious deck. “Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Golden Smelt. We have been renting VRBO properties for decades and this is by far the best stay we have ever had. “Absolutely fantastic location. The facility is everything you see in the photos. Often, areas are much smaller than they appear. This was great for a large group. There is enough room to sneak away for a bit if you wish and still lots of space to be together. The kitchen was stocked really well. We cooked most of our meals and it was a pleasure.
