Unfortunately, communication before arrival was very stressful. We were supposed to receive the address and check-in instructions in advance, but nothing was sent. We messaged the host multiple times through VRBO, called, and texted with no response, and eventually had to contact VRBO customer service to reach them.When the host finally replied, the directions were still incomplete. They sent what the building looked like and where to find the keys, but did not include the exact address. When we arrived on the street, we were unsure where to go and had to call again to confirm. It turned out we were in the wrong spot and had to relocate. This could have been completely avoided if the full address and instructions had been sent three days prior — or even the day of arrival. Not all travelers have reliable phone service or internet while traveling, so this could become a serious issue for guests.We also noticed another review mentioning similar difficulties getting timely check-in information, so this appears to be a recurring problem rather than an isolated experience.Once inside, however, the apartment itself was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located near the train station, which made our early morning departure very convenient. After we connected on WhatsApp, the host was responsive and check-in was smooth.
