“They had no record of our reaction (that we had paid confirmation through hotels.com. They charged us cash to get a room. (Options in the area and time we arrived extremely limited). Had to try and negotiate an 11 check out at 9 suggested he wanted us out by 10 (place had no other guests). Very noisey all night”

“In the hotel books my pre payment was not found so I had to pay at the hotel a sum of Rs.4500/ can you please check my accts and refund if I had double paid ”

“Amazing place. Can’t fault a single thing. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was amazing. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Always ready to help with a buggy. Spa was amazing in a very scenic set up. Secluded yet just a few mins drive to main city centre. Pool area is nice but the pool is rather small. Breakfast is very good, made to order. Complimentary guided trek to little Adams peak just behind the resort. They gave discount vouchers for Ravana pool club and zip lining but we didn’t...

“El personal fue lo más, muy amables y resolutivos! El lugar es muy lindo, se encuentra en la montaña, alejado del ruido centro, así que espectacular para poder dormir bien, volveremos ! Gracias por todo”

“We stayed at this amazing property for 3 days as a group of four and had a wonderful experience. The mountain views from our room were stunning, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast buffet had limited spread, but everything was delicious. The approach road can be a bit tricky, with a steep, narrow downhill stretch that accommodates only one car at a time. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property!”

“We had a wonderful stay! The view of the Nine Arch Bridge and jungle was so beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was really good, too! The complimentary tuk-tuk service to and from the main road to the accommodation was especially appreciated given the steep and narrow road. Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we would happily recommend!”

“Was incredible hotel ”

“Perfect stay in a more quiet area of Ella. You will be in the center shortly. The best thing about our stay was the excellent breakfast served on our private balcony with an amazing view. If we ever come back to Ella again…. This is the place we will stay!”

“The view is supreme. The room is very clean and quite well-appointed for the class of hotel. The location is very near to town just up the way to its hilltop perch. A good walk or short tuk tuk ride . The staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was good. I had reason to contact the manager and he responded quickly to sort out my issue. I highly recommend Mountjoy Ella.”

“a lovely boutique hotel with amazing staff & good breakfast”

“Perfecto para moverte por la ciudad de Ella . El personal súper amable ! La comida muy bien ”

“We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, catered to our needs very effectively”

“The room was excellent. Had everything I needed. Only thing I would add is an additional plug socket to the room. Melani was phenomenal from the start and throughout, she went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was made fresh every morning and Melani checked what I wanted and even accommodated things like getting low fat options, which she didn’t need to do. The star of this hotel besides the staff is the view from the balcony! Looking out onto Ella was lovely,...

“Awesome experience overall. Everything was great.”

“En nuestra opinión es un edificio, que en algún momento de su historia tuvo valor. Tiene poco mantenimiento, todo se ve y está muy usado, la habitación poco presentable, camas de tambor de resorte y colchones muy incómodos, el baño como de los años treinta, con adaptaciones muy rústicas y de mal gusto, en la tina, había una tarima de madera para salir de ella. El wc muy viejo y estorboso así como la papelera y la jabonera. Ciudad con poquísimo interés turístico.”

“Good Hospitality”

“Beautiful views.”

“Very nice views! Concierge like a father to us! Helpful and friendly stuff.”
