Villa Landi is stunning!Beautiful decor, a well equipped kitchen and so many places eat, under the vines, by the pool , on the balcony or in the beautiful dining room.You are surrounded by stunning views; opening the window in the bedroom that first morning was breathtaking.Bella vistas.We visited the grocery store each morning for fresh breads , meats and sweet treats.And very much enjoyed seeing the history of the descendants of the house- and ice cream shop in Grays Essex our home county. The walking paths are good with many small Hamlets around you,then home to relax in the pool. A tranquil setting that soothed the soul but situated in an area that if you have a car, if you wish to visit different places, it was very easily done.

we had a very nice and relaxed vacation and enjoyed our stay at casa landi a lot. the house is quite spacious and the garden and pool are a great place to hangout in the summer :)

We had a wonderful stay at Mike’s house. The space is fantastic, the garden is very spacious, and the pool is delightful. There is a beautiful view of the mountains, and it’s the perfect place to completely relax. I would recommend this house to anyone.

Relaxing break in Glorious Countryside

Comfortable Homely Villa set in the Tuscan hills. We enjoyed the views, the relaxing by the pool. Visiting both Lucca & Pisa via the train and Eating in Tuscan restaurants.

Beautiful location

Had a lovely stay at Villa Landi. It was really spacious for a large group and had everything you would need. Beautiful views over the valley and the benefit of a small pool to cool off in. Idyllic location.

Entspannter Familienurlaub

Wir waren mit 2 Familien 1 Woche hier und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Die schöne historische Villa mit Terrasse, Garten und Pool liegt in einer wundervollen Landschaft, in der viel geboten ist: Wandern, Baden und Sport im Fluss und Canyon.Ein kleiner Defekt am Haus wurde zügig repariert. Alles super, danke!

Lovely house with a view

We had a great time in this special house in the mountains. The host was very helpfull and the house had everything we hoped. One small Point was the size of the pool. It was good for cooling doen but too small for swimming.

It was easy to find the house with the instructions given by the owner. Nicely situated in a calm area of the village. The handling of garbage was a bit tricky to figure out though and it was inevitable that some garbage would pile up when only certain garbage was supposed to be emptied on certain days. But that's how garbage management seems to work in Italy.The house was very well equipped in the kitchen and elsewhere. The beds were generally not that comfortable. Wifi worked but the coverage was very limited. The house had been serviced by a better router so that you could get wifi upstairs and by the pool. Now wifi was limited to the TV room on the ground floor. The shower in the bathroom on the lower floor was super nice. Spacious and good water supply. It was very easy to get in contact with the owner when I had some questions. He replied quickly to emails.

Schöne Tage in Casa Landi

Alles war prima bei unserer Ankunft. Betten gemacht mit Handtüchern drauf. Super schöner Garten und Balkon zum Sonnetanken. Die Steckdosen waren ein bisschen kniffelig und wir mussten ein paar Kröten aus dem Pool retten. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist kurvenreich aber machbar.

Im kleinen Berdorf

Wir haben uns in der großen Villa sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles da was man brauchte, der Pool groß genug zum abkühlen und das Haus fantastisch rustikal eingerichtet. Wenn ihr Erholung sucht, seid ihr hier in den Bergen genau richtig aufgehoben.im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Krämerladen und eine fantastische Bar mit selbstgemachten Speisen. Für alles andere gibts Märkte, die 15 min entfernt sind. Ausflüge wie Lucca sind ca 45 min entfernt und ein Besuch wert. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Family holiday

Lovely property near bagno di Lucca. Situated high on a hillside in a beautiful setting with breath taking views. A really authentic old villa with period furnishings. A nice garden and a small but very clean pool to cool off in. You definitely would benefit from a hire car. We visited Florence and Pisa - both an hour and a half drive and also Marinello for Ferrari - a 2 1/2 hour drive through the hills. We really had the most amazing stay and really enjoyed this stunning location.

Very lovely authentic italian house

We had a very lovely vacation in the house. It was all you may want from a holidayhome. It was nice with the ventilation in the sleepingareas, and two functional bathrooms. We didn't use the livingroom or diningroom much as we spend most of our time outdoors. The communication before our stay was so easy and we didn't need to communicate during our stay. We absolutely loved the outdoors and the kittens in the village.

Stunning location

Villa Landi is situated in a stunning location.A traditional Tuscan house oozing with character and charm,we almost felt as if time had stood still from a bygone age,but we enjoyed all the modern conveniences at the same time.Best of both worlds and perfect for our taste. Mike was easily contactable and most helpful. It's a holiday we won't forget in a long long time. Thanks Mike for letting us share your lovely house.

Urlaub mit zwei Familien im Norden der Toskana

Unkomplizierter Check In durch einen Schlüsselkasten mit Zahlencode. Das man mit dem Auto nicht unmittelbar am Haus parken kann, stört eigentlich nur bei der An-und Abreise. Sonst ist der kurze Weg zum Parkplatz, selbst mit Einkäufen gut zu machen. Zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Haus. Inventar ist in die Jahre gekommen, passt aber zum Charme des Hauses und war nicht störend. Der Pool war nicht nur für die Kinder eine willkommen Abkühlung und während unseres Aufenthaltes nötig. Anfängliche Probleme mit dem Internet, wurden durch den Vermieter Mike unmittelbar behoben. Top! In dem kleinen Bergdorf gab es einen kleinen Laden, in dem wir morgens täglich unser Brot und das nötigste gekauft haben. Alles in Allem, war es ein schöner Urlaub im Norden der Toskana. Lucca, Pisa, Florenz, das Meer war mit einer Autofahrt erreichbar. Alles weitere im Süden der Toskana, wie Siena, war uns mit zu viel Fahrtzeit verbunden.

Fenomenal

La casa es fantástica fuimos dos parejas con 4 niños y había espacio suficiente para todos. La cocina dotada de un generoso menaje, amplios dormitorios y un bonito jardín con unas vistas espectaculares. Totalmente aconsejable si buscas descanso y disfrutar de tu grupo de amigos y/ o familia en un entorno idílico

Wonderful

Beautiful villa in a beautiful landscape. The owner is very nice and helpful. Kitchen fully equipped. Plenty of beds to choose from (attention; all furniture is antique, so the beds 😉) Garden, balcony and pool are perfect for enjoying time together. Baby bed and high chair available. We really enjoyed our stay.

Peace, quiet and tranquility. Friendly neighbourhood.

a very spacious villa with style and perhaps quite a bit of history. The garden and the pool is a hidden gem in the middle of the mountains. It was reasonably clean and everything utility works properly. Perhaps the wifi may need a bit of updating but this is not a business conference hotel so it helps to have no signal at some corners so people can chill and have an actual holiday. We did learn a bit about the Italian recycling system along the way.

A charming, authentic, Italian home.

Mike's property is completely charming and it has all the hallmarks of a loved family home. Everything that you will need is provided, including a variety of games for both adults and children. The photographs of the property do not do it justice, and the pool is much larger than appears in the photo. The kitchen is equipped with everything that a cook will need.
