Tuscany Bliss

The views from the bedroom window and from the outdoor patio were breathtaking. The location is spectacular; up a forested, winding road, through the Tuscan hills. Keep driving past the little village for even more jaw-dropping vistas. Maria is a lovely host and shared some excellent suggestions around restaurants, destinations, and activities. We had lots to do but were also happy to just enjoy the restorative, peaceful, very pretty. apartment.

Traumhafter Ort!

Maria ist eine sehr zuvorkommende Vermieterin. Die Kommunikation war einwandfrei, unsere Fragen wurden immer schnell beantwortet. Das Ferienhaus ist genauso, wie auf den Bildern. In echt sogar noch hübscher. Der Pool und das ganze Anwesen von Maria und Leonardo ist ein Ruheplatz und perfekt zum abschalten! Das Obst und Gemüse von der Farm ist super lecker und man kann auch Eier, Olivenöl oder Essig bei Maria kaufen. Die Lage ist sehr ländlich und die Bergstraße bis nach villamagna ist abenteuerlich. Bis Florenz sind es aber nur 15 Autominuten und auch andere Städte wie Pisa, Lucca oder Siena sind in etwas mehr als einer Stunde zu erreichen. Wir hatten wunderschöne 2 Wochen an diesem tollen Ort.

Perfect apartment in a perfect location

My wife and two young daughters (4 and 5 months) had a fantastic 2 weeks at this apartment in August. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. The pool is lovely and the view even better. Maria the apartment owner is a font of knowledge for the local area and she really does go the extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The pizzaria and restaurant in Villamagna are brilliant and serve really authentic food - we ate a lot of pizza! Overall a fantastic two week stay and we will be back.

Nice holiday in Villamagna

we have spent a nice holiday in Villamagna. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable with a beautiful view. A place where you can relax and enjoy! Maria and Leonardo were very friendly and helpful and the pool was a wonderful refreshment after visiting the busy cities. Johan & Chantal

Perfekte Toskana-Idylle weit oben über Florenz

Um nach Villamagna zu kommen, wo Maria und Leonardo auf ihre Gäste warten, muss man eine Bergstraße erklimmen. Aber das lohnt sich. Die Ferienhäuser inmitten von Obst- und Olivenbäumen, in typisch toskanischer Natur, sind ein Traum. Liebevoll mit vielen kleinen Details eingerichtet, locken urige Küchen mit modernen Geräten, Tageslichtbäder mit Terracottafliesen und gemütliche Schlafzimmer. Die Fahrt ins Zentrum von Florenz dauert mit dem Pkw außerhalb der Rush-Hour 20 Minuten, die Parkhäuser sind im Vergleich zu München oder Frankfurt unglaublich günstig. Wir (Mama, Papa, zwei Töchter) hatten eine traumhafte Woche bei Maria und Leonardo, ohne wenn und aber. Unsere Kinder konnten sich im Grünen austoben, wir mussten auf Shoppen und Museumsbesuche trotzdem nicht verzichten.

A place you do not want to leave

This new apartment offers everything you crave for during your vacation: It is very well and tastefully furnished, beds are comfy and from them you have a splendid view to the Florence valley and hills (like Fiesole) as well as from the big terrace and the wonderful, big pool. Within minutes you can reach Florence (and can also take a bus (line 23) from Bagno a Ripoli (stop at Cimitiero al Pino or close to the big COOP), if you want to avoid high parking fees and busy roads. Also, all other major Tuscan sites like Pisa, Luca, Siena, San Gimingnano, the Chianti region and more are easy to reach within an hour. At the same time, Villamagna offers plenty of fresh air, a peaceful, quiet setting, a gorgeous surrounding, two excellent restaurants, and several hiking trails (do not miss to visit Convento L'Incontro which offers splendid views of Florence - and is also accessible by car). Besides, wonderful hosts await and will spoil you: Maria responds very quickly to all your questions, is a source of knowledge, and she and her family also offer special dinners at your place at your request, a tour around their farm with product tasting (which we highly recommend) and welcome you very warmly and generously without intruding. This is a place you do not want to leave! We had a perfect time and can recommend this place highly. It is a jewel and we hope to return soon. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Superbe séjour

Juillet 2018 : superbe séjour dans l'un des deux appartements que Maria Borchi loue dans sa propriété de Villamagna, petit village à une douzaine de kilomètres de Florence. L'appartement est parfait, aménagé tout récemment avec beaucoup de goût et d'originalité par Maria, reste toujours frais grâce à sa climatisation et dispose d'une grande terrasse très agréable avec une vue magnifique sur la campagne toscane, avec en fond de paysage la ville de Florence qu'on devine le jour et qui s'illumine le soir. L'endroit est calme, Maria très accueillante et toujours prête à nous aider mais également discrète et nous la voyions surtout quand elle nous apportait des fruits et des légumes de sa propriété. On peut profiter aussi d'une grande piscine à quelques mètres de l'appartement, où l'on pouvait rencontrer nos voisins de location, très sympathiques. Villamagna est un endroit idéal pour visiter la Toscane, Florence bien sûr mais aussi Pise et Lucques, Sienne ou San Gimignano, notamment. Merci encore à Maria pour sa gentillesse. Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement. Régine et Philippe, Belgique.

wonderful motorcycling and relaxing holiday in a beautiful area

We were guests in the apartment „Giulio“ in June 2018. We travelled with our motorcycle, and had a wonderful week in villamagna (and on the roads around….) The apartment was perfect , everything what a guest could need, you’ll find! It looked new, was very (and i mean very very) clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated!! The fotos correspond exactly the reality! There are 2 things you should know: You absolutley need a vehicle (the next store is ~ 6km away) A washing machine is not in the apartment, but Maria offers a laundry service. The hosts Maria and Leonardo, were very solicitous and helpful. We are also happy, that we have met the whole family during the week, because all of them are very friendly and funny persons. So we can highly recommend Maria’s apartments!! Our rate: 6!! of 5 stars p.s.: Thank you Maria, Leo and Family for this beautiful week!

Perfektes Urlaubsdomizil nahe Florenz

Wir waren zehn Tage in dieser wunderschönen, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten und blitzsauberen Apartment, das toll in den Hügeln von Florenz liegt. Ausstattung deutlich über dem normalen Standard, es war wirklich alles da. Von der Lage her (10 km nach Florenz) ideale Kombi aus Besichtigungen und Erholung zwischendurch. Die Anlage ist extrem gepflegt, der Blick von der sehr großen Terrasse wunderschön, auch den Pool haben wir genossen. Maria und ihre Familie sind die perfekten Gastgeber, wir wurden mit frischen Eiern, Zitronen und selbstgemachten Sugo begrüßt - bei jeder Frage war sie sehr hilfreich, unser Kind bekam sofort Familienanschluss - gleichzeitig hat man seine Ruhe. Gut zu wissen: Direkt neben dem Apartment gibt es ein zweites Apartment, ähnlich eingerichtet und gleiche Größe, sodass man gut mit Familie oder Freunden fahren kann. Auto ist notwendig, man fährt ungefähr 10 Minuten über eine kleine Straße nach in den Vorort Bagno di Ripoli, wo es einen großen, kostenlosen Parkplatz direkt neben der Bushaltestelle gibt, von dort kann man dann mit dem Bus nach Florenz fahren. Im Ort gibt es eine gute Trattoria, am Wochenende dazu noch Pizza im Gemeindesaal.

A great vacation in the hills of Tuscany

We (a family with two children 13 and 18) had a really great time at the apartment on our trip through Italy. The view was astonishing and the landscape was beyond beautiful. The apartment included everything you need to get along, a full equipped kitchen with every device you need for cooking (microwave, oven, toaster,...) and everything else. The furnishing was really new, clean und comfortable. Also, the floor heating worked very well, and it was easy to regulate. The homeowner Maria welcomed us with opened arms, was very friendly and always helpful, she often gave us some advice where to go, what to visit. The apartment is located on a hill in a very beautiful area, great to have walks or hikes. If you want to go to Florence, the best for you is to go by car, the ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Supermarkets, gas stations and bus stops are also near (in Bagna a Ripoli). Our main goal was to visit Florence, and this stay was the perfect solution because in this way we could experience both the city and the landscape and have a relaxed time after visiting the city. In conclusion, we really enjoyed the stay and we look forward to go there again, maybe in summer when it is warm enough to use the pool. :-)
