“Needed a place to stay for a weekend of fishing, this cabin fit the bill with the marina that I wanted to fish out of. The cabin has a nice layout, and was sufficient for what I needed. The cleaning person claimed I had a dog in the cabin, and left dirty dog dishes with hair "all over the place" and I received an added cleaning fee with out first checking with me. There was no dog, and the checkout list was followed to a T. I will not stay with this "Host" again”

“What a beautiful place inside and out! Definitely one of the best we've stayed at! The drive in was a little rough because of the frozen dirt road, but it was worth it for the large private property where our dog loved roaming freely!”

“Absolutely loved the cabin! Host was very informative and gave great instructions and directions. Close because it was dog friendly, but we didn’t notice any signs of previous dogs in there. Beautiful, secluded setting. If you are dependent on internet, not the place for you but if you want to get away from it all, it is perfect! Plan on going back again and making it an annual girls getaway!”

“We wanted one last gasp of summer before school started and to check off a few more trails in our hiking book. We also wanted a place that was secluded and private. This was a perfect place. We had the privacy we were looking for with all the comforts of home! 40 minutes from the Apostole Islands and 15 minutes from Morgan Falls/St. Peter’s Dome. Very clean. Very comfortable.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect: Right next to downtown Cornucopia (so you can find basic items easily), and just minutes from some of the coolest trails in the area. “The cottage was the perfect accommodation for my husband and I while our daughter attended the Madeline Island School of the Arts for the week. The lake views are stunning and you can hear the waves gently hitting the shore…so relaxing. We spent 2 days exploring Big Bay State Park which is only a few miles away. The cottage was well equipped. We had everything we needed including paper towels, soap, toilet paper, hair dryer and more. Thank you Frank!”

We were looking for a little bit of everything, lake views, near food, near shopping, acess to Superior lake walking trail, and this place fulfilled. Nice natural lighting. For being a smaller space it felt large. Basic kitchen tools helped make the kitchen feel practical to use. Loved the bonus coffee!”
