“It is a lovingly extended stone cottage between a fast moving stream with a view and a country road. A very well equipped home from home , a perfect base for up to 4 ppl to explore the area. The owner is very responsive, and found her more reliable than the company managing the property.the ”

“Great place”

“Interior del hotel muy bien decorado. Habitación amplia (7), cómoda y calentita. En el cuarto de baño había un problema de evacuación del agua de la ducha. Punto negativo, la manera de recibir ha sido un poco impersonal y hemos tenido que pagar todo con antelación cuando hemos llegado. Personal del desayuno muy simpático, muchas gracias a ella por sus sonrisas y su ayuda. Desayuno muy bueno y completo.”

“Nicely presented property. Spacious room with a large bathroom. My room even had a small living area. Host was friendly, helpful and communicative. Town centre was a 60 second walk away.”

“AVOID AWFUL HOTEL.”

“This would be a reasonable budget option if not for the mattresses. The springs were completely shot and either very old or very cheap. Everything else was decent if they could manage that simple fix”

“Second time we've stayed here and won't be out last. Plenty of space with large kitchen and living area, comfy beds and lovely little touches like biscuits, milk, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and even a bottle of wine in the fridge. Perfect spot for Bala and exploring the surrounding area. Definitely recommended”

“Stunning location, so peaceful and close by lots of great things to do”

The decor is a little tired in places, but overall it is a clean and comfortable place to stay. We appreciated there not being an additional fee for bringing a dog. The location is good, just a short walk from the centre of Dolgellau, with plenty to do in the local area. However, the map pin we were sent directed us to the north side...

“A lovely property in the perfect location for Dogalleu. Lovely welcome, welsh chocolate, shortbread and lemonade. Only slight gripe was the bedsheets felt old and were bobbled.”

“The farmhouse and surroundings are picturesques but the cleanliness could be very much improved. The laminate flooring is worn in places and the amount of rubbish found under beds and sofas was alarming. ”
