Lovely comfortable clean room. Host was really nice and breakfast was good proper coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. 2 minutes from Ballycotton by car.

Warmth welcoming stay

Such a warm welcome by the owners, very helpful. House was lovely and warm and cosy. Breakfast was amazing, the homemade scones were delicious!!Thank you so muchz

This place is beautiful inside and out. The breakfast were very good and our hosts were so nice. My only dislike is how far out in the country we were for driving.

Uncomfortable

The room was not comfortable. We even put extra comforters under us to try and get sleep. The walls are paper thin so we heard the man next to us going to the bathroom a number of times in the night. Carpets are stained and the pot to boil water was corroded and there was no where to plug it in even if it was clean. Breakfast was ok, better the last morning. We got stuck in a hail storm and couldn't make it back for one of the nights and got charged anyway. Just not a welcoming place.

Extremely welcoming the moment you walk up to the door. Room and bathroom was amazingly clean. The views from the property are just fabulous. Unfortunately I was staying for a wedding and did not get to have the food due to timing, but if the food tasted as good as it smelled lingering through the house then this place is a must stay for everyone.!!! I will be returning in the future.

Very comfy and close to town..

This was our first B&B experience and we enjoyed it very much, Paddy and Anna the hosts were just so friendly and always there for any of our needs. Mouth watering breakfast catering for all, and amazing home baked scones and bread were delicious. Their home is so beautiful with lovely gardens and view, plus lot's of parking spaces. Rooms are very comfy and have everything you will need for your stay plus other rooms to lounge around in with books etc if you wish. Lovely little towns only a short drive away offer plenty of bars and restaurants for your evening meals, lovely attractions only short distance away and Paddy and Anna were always ready with advice to meet your interests. Wish we could of stayed longer but we will return again when visiting Cork in the future......

Anna and Paddy were excellent hosts! The breakfast was wonderful! The room was comfortable, but did have carpet stains and could do with a cleaning. Overall the hosts made up for the negative comment. Lovely people!!

Lovely experience

Very clean, quiet, excellent breakfast. We were greeted by the housekeeper. She was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend this b&b.

Excellent b & b

Wonderful hosts, very comfortable room and excellent homemade breakfast. No problem catering for dietary issues. Very accommodating and helpful. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Away from City

Really enjoyed my stay. Be warned that it is in the country with only the small town of Ballycotton near. The owners were friendly and the breakfast was outstanding. Rooms were comfortable. The only suggestion that I would make is that Sunville House needs to be very specific about how to get to it. Without a GPS and no real road signs it is not easy to find. Even just a sign pointing to the correct farm road would have been helpful. Other than that I have nothing but good words to say about my stay.

HOme away from home

WOnderful location, breakfast was amazing. THe owners are friendly and attentive and we loved the tea and scones on arrival. THe pub for dinner was good too with the fish being fresh and local

Absolute perfection

Truely, the only thing that needs to be said is that this B & B is PERFECT. If you want a quiet, secluded spot then Sunville House is the place to stay. It is away from everything (a little hard to find) but it gives you the perfect, quiet stay. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully presented. The scones on arrival were delicious. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The hosts are delightful and friendly. It felt like we were visiting close friends ... nothing was an issue!!! Highly recommended.

Lovely, quiet Rural Setting.

Intimate rural b&b on the outskirts of Ballycastle that was a pleasure to stay at. Helpful owners who were conversant with their district and made stay great.
