“We had a lovely week at James property, the house was so comfortable and had everything we needed. James and his parents were great hosts and made us feel very welcome.The location was fabulous, just a short walk over the green to the castle and beach. The lovely village centre is very handy too with great places to eat and an excellent butchers shop and deli.Oh, and the view! To look out at Bamburgh castle from the kitchen and bedroom windows was just so special.”

“Cottage in the most stunning location and the views breathtaking. Large cottage but the main bedroom with the en-suite a small bedroom . The bedroom downstairs with the single beds , dark and not inviting, a few flies. Large kitchen , lovely agar. Plenty of pots and glasses etc.Would benefit from an American style fridge as the food for 6 people and 2 children did not all fit in the fridge. “Brilliant place, we had walks, pub meals, bike rides. Could have done with some oven gloves and a hand mixer to make cakes. A few cleaning products would have helped (we bought our own and left them for next occupants.). Its location is brilliant for star gazing from the hot tub. It’s an easy walk to Bamburgh through the fields, a trip out to the Farne islands is a must. ”
