Charlene was lovely and thank you for the hospitality! We loved the location and view. The house had very comfortable beds and sitting areas. We would definitely visit again. Some definite deferred maintenance items that need to be addressed by the owners at this price point level but wouldn’t deter us from coming back.

Great Location, Great hosts very helpful. Property is a little rough around the edges, but is well reflected in the price. Perfect for fishermen or people who love the rustic chic. Cant wait to come back next year!

Charlene is a wonderful hostess and she made me comfortable. Room was immaculate and very comfortable. I stayed a night and had a comfortable stay. Charlene really went above and beyond in ensuing that I was comfortable. Weather was bad and snowy in some parts of alberni but I had a comfortable stay here . Thank you Charlene for your warm hospitality. 👍😊

I had an awesome stay at Argo's Landing. I stayed in the upper unit. The unit itself was modern, spacious, and properly equipped with breath taking views. Good situated for daily excursions in the area. The water taxi for Bamfield west can pick one up from the dock in front of the house.  I had some rainy days and did not mind staying in doors at the Argo’s and just relax watching the tides come in and nature activities on the water. Going back to Bamfield again just for that experience.

A basic room, it was perfectly fit for our needs. The beds were ok. Clean and cozy in the room. Can water taxi to west Banfield to get to more things, also a market there aswell and a restaurant. Worth the visit.

Wir verbrachten in Argo's Landing eine wunderschöne Zeit, die uns immer in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Belohnt wird man mit herzlicher Gastfreundschaft, einer einzigartigen Aussicht von der Unterkunft aus, Ruhe und einer Vielzahl von nahegelegenen Attraktionen (Regenwald, schöner Strand, Wanderwegen und Naturbeobachtungen). Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden und empfehlen dieses Kleinod jedem, der das Besondere sucht, weiter.

We had an awesome fall visit to Argo’s Landing! Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the water. The room is basic, four beds, good size bathroom, fridge and dining kind of area. This spot is easy to get to the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve and other beautiful trails. It’s super convenient to get the water taxi right from the dock over to West Bamfield! We also loved the cafe in town. So much to see around this area! Liz provided lots of great recommendations too. Looking forward to visiting again.

The hosts were very lovely, very kind & really helpful. Beautiful view from outside, location is incredible. It would be amazing if the listing were updated with current photos though. We stayed in the lower suite, all the photos are of the upper suites, which are very, very different. The lower level is less of a suite than one room with one very small window, 4 small beds along the walls, no sink, no recycling, etc. We weren't in the room much so we didn't mind too much, but it was apparent right away that the room was different expected. That might be our fault, we didn't mind much, but the listing could use clarifying. Top marks for the hosts & location though.

Our stay was excellent, and we really enjoyed the property. However, the booking information was misleading. We booked well in advance because we wanted to stay close to Tofino or Ucluelet. The listing mentioned that the property is only 39 km from Ucluelet, but it did not clearly state that the route requires a water taxi/boat and that there is no direct road access. We only discovered this after arriving, which completely changed our plans. As a result, we had to spend an extra 4 hours driving and cover approximately 300 additional kilometers, which was never part of our itinerary. We paid over $500 for one night, expecting a convenient location near our destination. Instead, we ended up driving in the opposite direction, making the stay far less convenient and not worth the price for our travel plans. I believe this information should be clearly displayed on the booking page so guests can make an informed decision before reserving. The property itself was wonderful, but the lack of clear access information made the overall experience disappointing. I would expect Team Expedia to get back to me.

The accomodation was very basic, which the landlady has told us about in advance. The beds were clean, but otherwise the room wasn'tup to our standard. To shower was uncomfortable.adjusting the wazer temperature was hit or miss. Fan in the bathroom and refrigerator in the room were excessively loud. The location ist beautiful and it is quite readonably priced for Bamfield.

Our host was amazing, very attentive and responsive. The room is all we needed as we are prepared for cooking on the boat. The room isn't much just beds, shower and a fridge but that is all we needed.

Showed up for our stay to an empty property. No one responded to repeated phone calls( only got voicemail) or reaching out on social media. Very disappointing after driving for 3.5 hours. As there was nowhere else open to stay we had to drive 1.5 hours to the next nearest town and pay for a hotel there. Hosts have not reached out to apologize.
