“We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....

“We were staying at hotel to attend a function elsewhere in the area. The staff were helpful and friendly and we were given an upgrade to executive suite. The check in staff member handled a situation very well when another guest interrupted during our check-in. The hotel was clean and comfortable with good facilities.”

Loved decor and furnishings of mirror lighting in bathroom having big Christmas tree right outside window wintery day. Girls in room next door did wake me 1-2am with some noise though had peaceful cosy sleep otherwise great spot location so central in Moira. Will recommend to friends and family lovely ambience throughout house. Great time had Thanks”

“I had such a wonderful stay at Arthurs from the moment I arrived. It is so stylishly decorated and my room was so beautiful and comfortable. The highlight of my stay, though, was Jill. She gave me the loveliest welcome and instantly made me feel at home. She went out of her way to get me sorted for breakfast, and did it all with such genuine friendliness and kindness. Her positive energy really made my stay extra special and memorable. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, beautiful...
