“Exceptionally friendly staff, very welcoming on arrival and during our stay, It’s a lovely modern & well maintained hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious & warm. The food is served in a modern dining room hosted by extremely pleasant & thoughtful staff. The food itself is of high quality with plenty to choose from. Enjoyed our Stay & plan to be returning guests.”

“This has an amazing restaurant,staff very knowledgeable and very friendly, food excellent, very homely pub also and friendly people,hotel room excellent and clean , we had dogs with us and they were warmly welcomed also , can take dogs in bar but not restaurant which is not a problem at all ,excellent location with great parking ,highly recommended and we will be back ,dinner in evening great selection of locally sourced produce , and also breakfast in the morning amazing . ”

“Room dirty , no remote for tv No breakfast in morning even though we were charged for breakfast,no one available at all in the morning,tried calling the phone number supplied but no answer , finally got the manager at 12oclkck midday ,told them about my issues and they did not care in the slightest ,told me to contact hotels .com ,absolutely disgusting behaviour customer service zero . Do not recommend this place to anyone . ”

“We had a lovely relaxing stay at Mains of Durn Cottage Michael & Susan were the perfect hosts the cottage was warm & comfortable, we all slept really well.The wood burner was a bonus in fact everything you need for a lovely break away from it all ”
