  • Quiet, within-residential-neighborhood single level house fantastic for visiting researcher, visiting hospital professional, or any one to four individuals (one king bed, one queen bed) needing a well-appointed space for a short-term, peaceful, or extended stay.
    Comfortable, stylish living room with flat screen tv, wifi, seating, shelves, coffee table.
    One king bedroom with closet and bureau, one queen bedroom with closet, bureau, and desk.
    Full bathroom featuring walk-in tile shower with on-demand hot water (won’t run out of hot water!). In-bathroom washer/dryer.
    Kitchen with open dining room with seating for six, large windows for sunny view of backyard. Dishwasher, microwave, keurig, french press, bean grinder, drip pot, electric hot water pot — use your choice to make your coffee!
    Private backyard good for bird watching.
    Driveway for single vehicle off-street parking.
    Be aware there is NO basement and NO garage access. These spaces are locked off for owner storage.
    Non-smoking property. This house is officially registered with the City of Bangor, short term rental license P-00002, meaning it has passed the City’s required code and fire inspections and is approved by the City for short term rental.

Our stay was wonderful as always. Our dog and toddler loved the fenced-in yard, and the grill worked beautifully for July 4th BBQ. The kitchen is well-stocked with every appliance you could need, and the host even left us a variety of flavored water to combat the heat. The air conditioner was able to keep the home cool during the heatwave, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Great location with lots of charm. We really enjoyed having a nice quiet place to come back to after a day of exploring and feel safe to walk our puppy in the neighborhood.

The house was very comfortable. We loved the unusual antiques and the Maine focused information. Beds very comfortable and liked the dining room with all the windows. Laurel was a responsive host.

We loved our 4 night stay at little Vernon. Host Laurel was very friendly, helpful, responsive and accommodating. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything you could possibly need and more. Laurel had helpful notes around the house that answered any questions that might come up. The keypad entry was much nicer than having to carry around a physical key. It's an excellent location in a sweet neighborhood where we enjoyed many walks while also being in a convenient distance to stores and restaurants. We also enjoyed sitting in the beautiful backyard. We were visiting family but wish we had more time to enjoy this comfortable home. We hope to visit again and would definitely return to this property. 10 out of 10.

This was perfect for us. We were visiting family and it was nice to be able to meet and be able to cook meals together. The house was clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed which was great.

This place was perfect for what we needed. Place was clean and had all the necessities. Great location, close to a nice trail and shops. Liked that the kitchen was stocked with more than just the bare minimum.

Had a wonderful stay! The house was immaculate. Nice cozy home in a quiet neighborhood. Was just a short walk to my son’s home so that was a bonus. Laurel kept me well informed and made sure everything was ready for my arrival. Definitely will be staying with her again.

Lovely Home
