Beautiful home, very clean and well stocked with all the necessary items. Kitchen was very spacious and plenty of room to prepare meals. Very close to many restaurants, stores, and fun. The views are incredible. Plenty of room to spread out and have fun.

Cozy cabin, perfect location

Beautiful, comfortable, modern home with great mountain views. Completely stocked with everything you might need. We enjoyed making s'mores over the outdoor fire pit, cooking steaks on the outdoor grill, watching movies together on the big TV in the family room, playing the board games that were there, sleeping in the super comfy beds, and being conveniently located to ski/snowboarding, alpine coaster, and Hawks Nest tubing. My teenagers and I had a blast. Dinner at Sorrentos and Stonewalls was delicious (make sure to make reservations well ahead of time) and the other evenings we made dinners at home with ingredients from nearby grocery store. Beautiful surroundings. Sandy the property manager was very responsive, and gave me great advice about how to access the local amenities (snowboarding lessons at Sugar Mountain, make reservations for alpine coaster and tubing ahead of time). Quite home perched on a mountainside. My kids want to go back next year! Wonderful stay.

Amazing Experience

This home is absolutely adorable! Teenagers had the 2nd floor to themselves - adults each had their own room and bathroom - we had some very special family time and Sandy was amazing! She truly made the experience!

Beautiful Time at Elk Creek

My family and I were in the middle of having just sold our home and spent a week at Elk Creek while we waited to close on our new home. Our time at Elk Creek was such a beautiful time as we were going through a major transition. The property itself boasts every amenity and comfort one could want. The serenity and peacefulness and and majestic mountain views made our family experience together an amazing time. This property is enchanted indeed. Wonderful house and views

We had a fantastic stay at this house in Banner Elk. We stayed for a weekend family getaway. The house was amazing. It was spacious and well stocked. We cooked several meals and were very happy with what was available in the kitchen. The house also came with nice extra touches, like extra blankets to use in the living room and board games to play with the family. The view from where I stayed was better than any other NC mountain trip I've taken. The host was also provided excellent communication with clear instructions and was very responsive to any comments/questions. We would absolutely stay at this house again on a future trip.

Beautiful large home in Banner Elk central to everything

Had a wonderful stay at the property, which is in between both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain ski resorts. Located at the top of a hill with a great view of the area. Property as described and communication with owner was top-notch. Kids loved the games (board games and Xbox). Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful mountain home

Even the beautiful pictures don’t do justice to this property. Deck space offered beautiful Mountain Views. Fully stocked kitchen made cooking a treat. Spacious living area allowed our three teens plenty of room to spread out. Bathrooms were well appointed with plenty of towels, basket of toiletries, etc. We loved our time here!

Wonderful experience!

Our visit to Elk Creek was fantastic, the house was wonderful and had all the comforts of home. The hosts were amazing and truly cared about our visit and vacation. We visited over Christmas and they even asked if we’d like a tree. It was there for us upon arrival. Our family throughly enjoyed our time. We will definitely return to Elk Creek. Thank you Harry and Dawn.

Great House with a view

We had a wonderful time being snowed in on one of our 3 days at Elk Creek. There is plenty to keep you busy while in the house as it has all the amenities we have at our own house. The view is awesome, the owners, Harry and Dawn, are very attentive and responsive. We will stay again.

Everything and some more!

We rented this house for Lees McRae Alumni weekend. It met all expectations and some. We had 4 adults and 5 children, there was ample amount of room for everyone. The nice and relaxing atmosphere and view from the back deck was amazing. This mountain house had every amenities we could ask for. We will definitely rent again next year!
