I want to start off by saying the house is beautiful and the scenery is so great! Staying at this place was one of the best decisions when it came to the scenery and just the homey feeling. However, we did find some things to be quite difficult when we got inside. The hot tub did not work both nights we were staying there and I give credit to rental company as a tech was at our place within 2 hours of calling. However, they were not able to fix the situation at first and were not able to provide different accommodations due to everything else being booked. After this was noted I requested a refund due to the hot tub not working (seeing that’s what we paid for) and I didn’t even go into depth of how every dish in the house was dirty (but I normally wash dishes anyways before I use them, but still discouraging when everything had dirt caked on it). I was texted on Saturday afternoon that the manager was notified. I received no follow ups on Sunday and on Monday I reached out. I was sent to a voicemail and did not receive a response. I reached out to VRBO and they were able to get in contact with the host. They then did refund us some of the stay, but no response for 2 days was discouraging and is not the way things should’ve been handled. All in all, the place was beautiful and we made the best of our vacation. We were super disappointed about the hot tub as that’s the one thing we look for when booking stays.
