Cozy, Convenient and Clean.

If you are looking for a close place to stay for Beech Mountain you can’t beat this location. Would recommend this place and will stay there again in the future.

We were in town for the Land of Oz, and the parking for that is literally a stone's throw from the rental. So very convenient! The place itself was also good. The general vibe was cozy, a little stuffy (carpets throughout gave it a very minor musty smell), with some scratches and dated spots here and there (screen in the door falling out, tub scratched and missing stopper, etc.) and interesting local decorating. There was hand soap and towels, but nothing for the bathtub (shampoo, conditioner, bath soap) or kitchen sink (dish soap) so just be sure to pack your own. Some ground coffee was left, but it ran out on a single use and no tea, so again, just remember to bring your own. We had a hard time with the temperature, just because even at 65 the baseboard heaters seemed to be heating it to 75, and it took us awhile to figure that out (given there were some additional thermostats we thought might be activated). Trash is "across the street," not in the immediate A/B/C building area. It took us and some other guests awhile to figure that out. Couches were super nice. Local deer will come and eat out of your hand. Walkway/decks were new and beautiful. TV worked well. All in all, a very good stay!

Land of Oz Perfect Location

This is the third time to stay at this property and we love it! Perfect location to the ski lift of Beech Mountain. Plenty of space and deer right off the back deck. We will be back.

Walking distance to slopes

We spent a short amount of time but we’re able to do everything we wanted, because winter activities are just steps away. We were able to see a family of deer right outside on the porch. My kiddos loved walking around out back and exploring.

Wonderful!

We weren’t quite sure what to expect because not a ton of curb appeal. But this condo was absolutely perfect for a long weekend family ski trip. Extremely convenient location. Well kept. Everything you need available. The deer that come to back porch were fabulous. Very comfortable place to spend what was a snowy weekend. Little tricky to find building at first. Some skiers tried to park there that didn’t have passes. Need to enforce if possible.

Location, location, location

This place is literally a couple steps from the ski slopes; you just need to cross the road and you'll be at the Beech Mountain Ski Resort parking lot. It will actually take you longer to get on your car and drive around down and up the slope to access the parking lot. This place is also a short drive to other facilities in Beech Mountain like restaurants, coffee shops, dog parks and more. The location couldn't being better. The place is nicely kept and we appreciate they were flexible with our check in and out times. I would definitely come back again.

Clean, cozy & updated

Cute cozy condo that was updated and perfect to relax after hiking. Right near all the businesses of Beech Mtn but still felt secluded especially with the huge back porch. Host answered our questions & addressed needs upon check in. Took a few min to figure out how to lock the door when leaving, maybe this can be added to the information sheet left by the host! Comfy clean beds, huge TV in living room and master bedroom and comfy sectional in living room. It’s too early to ski but walked up to where the slopes are, super short walk. The only downside was that the coffeemaker was broken by the guests prior to us, so we weren’t able to make morning coffee, which the host informed us about when we asked about it, and hadn’t had a chance to replace it, so I think out of the host’s control. The positive is that the condo is walking distance to Poppy’s Coffee which has delicious coffee & coffee drinks!

Quaint Getaway

This condo sits a top Beech Mountain. Ideal for those who love to ski, snowboard, camp, hike, or simply need time away from the city buzz. The back porch view is absolutely stunning. Right around the corner to a lovely coffee shop, restaurants, and a little grocery store.
