Our FAVORITE new home away from home!

Our family of five had THE best time at this amazing cabin!! So much to do, so comfortable and the house is simply fantastic. The hosts were equally amazing and we cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful place for a larger group

We spent a long weekend with several families and had a wonderful time. It is wonderful place to use as a home base for hitting the slopes and for those who want a quite place by the fire.

Perfect home for our big family!

This home was perfect for our family group of 18, ranging in age from 1 to 67 years old. We enjoy cooking, so the large gourmet kitchen was a nice treat. The big dining tables inside and outside allowed us to eat together. Grandkids of all ages enjoyed the variety of games found on the garage level and middle floor. The garage apartment was a perfect fit for my daughter and her husband and one year old twins. Easy access to things around Blowing Rock and Boone, we enjoyed many excursions during our stay. It was a wonderful week!

Wonderful property

I recently had a fantastic stay through VRBO. The property was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. From the booking process to check-out, everything was seamless. Great for large families or groups!

This house was exactly what we were looking for with our fall family gathering. Extremely clean, well stocked, lots of games to entertain the kids, and hot tub and fire pit for the adults! Each day we walked to the driving range to see the deer herds grazing and actually fed them by hand! Close to the Rec center and Beech Mtn resort. Will stay again!

Outstanding Entertainment Home

Home provided an abundance of activities/ amenities to entertain everyone. The layout was perfect especially the main floor which allowed plenty of space to hang out during meals and while watching football games. Location was close to outdoor activities such as ski lift, winery, etc.

Family Christmas

This was our first time staying on Beech Mountain and we loved it! Large home for big families and enough room for everyone to spread out. The game areas were a big hit for kids and adults. We had deer that came to visit us everyday and got close enough that we could feed them. Great communication with host and easy check in. We definitely plan to come back next year!

Great location

We had 4 families stay and had a wonderful time. There are a few things that would have made our stay better: more supplies in kitchen, as there seemed to be a lack of cups, plates, towels, and toilet paper. Some repairs are needed and the fire pit was in bad shape and had trash thrown in it upon our arrival. Half of the arcade games for kids weren’t working. Great location and loved walking of golf course with kids, which made for great sledding hills too!

Absolutely perfect!

Dave was the absolute best!! We had such a wonderful host and house. Everything was absolutely perfect! Anytime we needed Dave he was quick to respond back! The kids really enjoyed all the game options they had because it practically rained the whole time we were there, so they really didnt get bored!! If our group size doesnt grow, we may be returning back to this same house next year if its available!!! I would 100% recommend this place!!

Church trip

Great stay- owner is very responsive. Plenty of room for our group of 16. We had fun watching the golfers! Hundreds of deer too! Very quiet property. Will definitely be back. One note - the bathroom did not have (enough) toilet paper or hand soap so probably bring your own (not a big deal but since property is so far away from anything just thought I'd mention). Really cool house.

Best Mountain Vacation!

The house was perfect for our 18 member family vacation. Though it rained almost the whole week we were there, the host had plenty of activities to keep everyone occupied. Available to us was a pool table, foos ball table, small theater, ping pong table, and a hot tub. On rainy days we set up tournaments of pool, foos ball, and ping pong. The perfect steak house…Stonewalls! The host was quick to respond to emails when help was needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our crazy family. We are already making plans for a return trip.

The host was attentive to our concerns however they were not all able to be resolved. Our stay has not met the expectations we had based on the property description. We appreciate your timely responses to the issues we’ve reported; however, several concerns significantly impacted our experience. The oven could not be repaired, leaving us with only one functioning oven for our Thanksgiving meal unless we used the one in the garage apartment three floors down. Additionally, the property was advertised as having four video arcade machines, but only two were available. Several pool cues were missing tips, and the water/ice dispenser on one of the refrigerators was completely inoperable. The Xbox didn’t work. Originally we were provided 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person for the duration of our stay. The host remedied this. The ovens were filthy and housekeeping came and said they don’t clean ovens but gave me oven cleaner and Brillo pads so I could clean it myself! There were pans and pots with food still on them. The tub had to be cleaned before we could use it because hair was left in the drain. Housekeeping should inspect and make sure everything is in pristine condition for the incoming guests. This property may have been very nice at one time, but it is clear that it now needs substantial refurbishing, and the listing should be updated to accurately reflect its current condition until these issues are addressed.

Thanksgiving stay

Lovely home. Large and roomy for everyone to have space and not be on top of everyone all of the time. The golf course made for a nice morning walk and the views of deer - spectacular! The kitchen allows for plenty of cooks in the kitchen. We able to successfully pull off an entire Thanksgiving meal prepared in house together without issue. It was really nice for our family of 12. Thank you so much.
