  • This is a third floor two bed two bath condo in building 8. Free WI-FI. The living room has a 25" TV, and a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with many accessories. There is seating for 4 in the dining area with additional seating available at the bar. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The guest bedroom has a queen bed. From your private balcony you have a ski in/ski out view of Oma's Meadow. The clubhouse is now open and ready for guests to enjoy an indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, & fitness room. The property also has tennis courts and outdoor grilling areas. Come and ski Sugar Mountain! **No wood burning fire place**

Cozy stay

The property was well kept and cozy for our ski/snowboard family trip. There was enough space in the unit and it was convenient to the slopes. The layout and amenities made it very comfortable.

Great location!

This location is on Blue run for “ski out” so plan on that level. Fairly clean condo with easy check in / out.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to vacation if you're a skier or just want to chill. The best part is walking out and hitting the slopes. No driving required. If driving during icy conditions, you must have AWD to reach the top.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After our AirB&B canceled on us the day before our year long planned trip to NC we were almost defeated. After using AI to help us find any ski in ski out we could find it lead us to this wonderful property. The odds of us having a place were low but the wonderful group at this location made it work. Awesome experience and hopefully we are able to book for next year. Short walk to slopes from anywhere on the property. You can’t go wrong!!!! Thank you again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was great. Ido wish there was more signage about the water being potentially cut off. When we arrived, there was no water coming out of the faucets/showers/toilets. We called the emergency number. That took a while to get a call back. He then told us it was a lever to move on the water heater. Make some big word documents to tell your people this when they arrive. Maybe put it in the bathroom posted or in the kitchen as well.Also, the ski slope right next to the cabin does not allow loading. It is only an unloading spot. Therefore it can't be used to get down to green.

I mean literally walk 25 feet and you’re on the top of the ski slope ready to ski down! Great balcony view down the mountain and of the ski slopes. Everything was very nice and we had no problems at all. We will be booking again!

Sugar Ski unit 832 Review-July 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is not a deluxe rental other than the view. The accommodations are in worn and generally old condition condition. The 25 year old washer/dryer is on its last leg. It took 2 hours for the dryer to dry a small load of clothes. Maintenance had to be called several times to fix problems in the unit for our 2 week stay. At roughly $160 a night this unit is overpriced and I will not return to Sugar Ski.

Only negative is we tended to trip on the rugs. Either need to tape them down or get rid of them.

It is decorated beautifully. The beds were extremely comfortable. We could stand on the balcony and watch our skiers go down the slopes and they were able to ski in and ski out directly from the condo. We didn’t have a single issue during our stay. I highly recommend this condo.

The pull out couch was very uncomfortable and practically impossible; like sleeping on springs. I had to put multiple blankets under me to make it more like an actual mattress. Snow making was loud at night but that can't be helped. Management company was supreme - very responsive and helpful during sketchy weather

Awesome Mountain View from our balcony.

Close to a number of attractions with something for everyone. Beautiful clubhouse with pool,sauna and tennis courts. Easy check-in and check-out. Property was clean and price was very satisfactory. When you can please seniors and young grandchildren, you' doing a good job.

I bought the trip protection insurance and need to file a claim because we had to leave early due to an injury sustained by someone in my party. I was told by the office person that someone named Janice would call me to take care of this and I have not heard from her as of yet.

Skied, Hiked Stone Mountain State Park, Mount Airy, Mayberry, Mount Pilot, BILTMORE, Linville Falls"GREEAAT", Caverns, Grand Father Mountain. Like our Rental at Sugar Mountain, North Carolina is Beautiful...Get that pool fixed and you've got a gem.
