  • Bienvenido a Suaimhneas.

    Esta es una casa de tres dormitorios. Hay una habitación doble con baño en la planta baja y una habitación doble y doble en la planta superior. Hay un baño de arriba con ducha sobre la bañera.     Aquí hay hoteles, restaurantes y pubs galardonados, supermercados, y está en la ruta del autobús. Hay varias pequeñas bahías y entradas donde se puede nadar y pescar. La cabaña está a 7 km de la ciudad de Bantry, patrimonio marítimo, y Glengarriff está a 12 km y es la puerta de entrada para recorrer la península de Beara y el Anillo de Kerry.

The house was nicley situated for sightseeing around cork and kerry, plenty of space and was nice to light a stove on a cool night.

We arrived to find a welcoming fire in the woodburning stove and a lovely country setting. The kitchen was well equipped and bathrooms had basic toiletries. Property has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs and 1 bedroom plus 1 1/2 baths downstairs.We did not have cell service but wifi was fast. The owners were very kind. If ever in the area again we would not hesitate to stay here.

This was a very pleasant property for a relaxing country stay and easy access to local amenities in Bantry. There were only three of us so it felt spacious with ample bedrooms and bathrooms that would accommodate six. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a lovely view and a nice enclosed wood burning fireplace. We would definitely come again!

The cottage was clean and comfortable and in a quiet rural location. It was a great place to relax after a full day of sightseeing or when we just needed some downtime. The host is excellent and answered questions promptly. We will definitely stay here again if we ever have the opportunity to come back!

Der Check in war unkompliziert. Bei der Ankunft brannte bereits der Kamin und das Haus war gemütlich warm. Wir fühlten uns hier gleich sehr wohl. Die Lage ist traumhaft und sehr ruhig.

Haus wurde auf der Website exakt beschrieben ; durchaus charmant, ist aber ein wenig "in die Jahre" gekommen. Ideal gelegen für die Erkundung von Beara, Mizen Head , Sheeps Head , Killarney NP ein wenig weiter weg (80 km).1 1/2 km vom nächst gelegenen Restaurant, 5 km von Bantry mit vielen Einkaufsmöglickeiten. Alle wichtigen Dinge wie große Küchengeräte und Heizung funktionierten einwandfrei. Betten in allen Schlafzimmern sehr bequem.-- In der Küche gab es leider nur eine benutzbare Pfanne, die andere müsste dringend erneuert werden. Dusche im OG (vermutlich wegen fehlendem Wasserdruck) quasi unbenutzbar. Kleine Infomappe mit Kontaktelefonnummern und ein paar Anweisungenwäre sehr hilfreich. Leider haben wir Jack erst am letzten Abend kennengelernt, weiteren Kontakt gab es nicht.

The cottage was absolutely lovely, with a wonderful view, check in was easy and we were met by the host Jack on arrival (who is a true gentleman). Kathleen was in easy contact throughout the booking process also, and answered any questions promptly (as it was our first time using VRBO).Lots of extras, condiments, tin foil etc in the kitchen that we could use, only downside was water pressure in upstairs bathroom wasn’t strong enough.Unfortunately whilst we were there, there was a problem with having no electricity, due to new solar panels being fitted previously. However this was through no fault of the hosts and Jack & his family including his grandson, were very apologetic and went above and beyond to rectify the problem, which they did, even offering alternative accommodation. We had a great time, wonderful cottage, beautiful scenic place & such a lovely family, we would love to stay there again., and will definitely be back :-)

Had a Fabulous holiday at this property. Ideal location for peace and quiet as well as a launch pad to tour the south West coast. Highly recommend this property - ideal for dogs

Super d arriver dans une maison chaleureuse, le feu du poêle nous attendait.Le lit du bas est tres confortable, vaste espace dans toutes les pièces. Plein de produits de première nécessité a disposition. Super sejour, malheureusement écourté par un coup de vent prevu.Super adresse, merci

The dog loved it ,had chats with other dogs neighbouring in houses around , met a few friendly cows in the neighbouring field fascinatedwith them , space for him to run around the drive.Adults had a quite relaxing stay , alot of places to go ... recommend " The Priest Leap, bring a parachute, not for the faint hearted , but some views back onto Bantry and the many peninsulas, Also Caha Pass to Kenmare views.People of west Cork / East Kerry very welcoming.Host exceptional

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage in Bantry. We were welcomed by a cozy fire and the place was clean and charming. We loved the kitchen and enjoyed cooking and dining together there. It had everything needed. Walks around and the views out of each window were beautiful. The bathtub was welcome during a gusty storm. I would stay again. Great for family.
