  • Freshly renovated cottage furnished with brand new furniture and beds welcomes you to the Baraboo and Devil's Lake State Park area! A block away from one of Wisconsin's most cherished landscapes sits a welcoming, cheery, family-friendly cottage. Three spacious bedrooms, – one king, one queen, and one with a twin over full bunk bed – two full baths, stocked kitchen, family room, and plenty of outdoor recreation areas make this your perfect home away from home while in the Baraboo, WI / Devil’s Lake State Park area.
    Unique to this property is a fenced in playground with "treehouse" and spacious backyard perfect for yard games.

    Guests can walk to the park from Devil's Lake Cottage - our property shares a boarder with state land. Come for a week long vacation, a long weekend getaway, a family retreat or an escape with friends. If you are looking to dine out, two restaurants - Tumbled Rock Brewery & Kitchen and The Northshore Restaurant and Bar are within walking distance. We are a five minute drive from Circus World Museum and Historic Downtown Baraboo where you will find many unique and locally owned shops, restaurants and antique and vintage stores. Balanced Rock Winery and Baraboo Bluff Winery are just up the road and Wollersheim Winery is a 20 minute drive through the beauty of the Baraboo Bluff Range and Valley with a crossing of the Wisconsin River just before arriving at the winery. If you are looking to take in a round of golf during your stay, we are a little better that a "chip shot" from Baraboo Country Club and Devil's Head Resort.

    For our winter guests, enjoy the slopes at Cascade Mountain, Devil's Head Ski Area or Christmas Mountain Village. All three of these skiing and snowboarding areas within about 20 minutes of Devil's Lake Cottage.

    If you are looking for a faster pace day during your stay, you will find year round outlet mall shopping, a casino and ample entertainment in the vacation mecca of Wisconsin Dells, just 15 minutes up Hwy 12.

    Most of all, nature and outdoor activity is ample and amazing here. Visit us in the fall and grab a fresh apple turnover and a bag of your favorite apples from Ski Hi Apple Orchard - just up the road.

Great home close to Devil’s Lake State Park

We have a wonderful stay at this location. The home was clean and we had everything we needed for a nice stay. We visited Devil’s Lake several days on our trip and it was nice being so close.

The cottage is the perfect location for my family and I since we spend most of our time at the nearby State Park! The host is easily reachable and responds within minutes of messages sent to him.

Hiking Weekend

Was a great place to stay. Clean and well-kept home. Very close to Devil's Lake State Park. Worked out perfectly for our trip. Would highly recommend and would gladly stay again if I return to the area.

Great for a weekend getaway!!!

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect for a family with children. Our granddaughter loved the swing-set and sand play area. Wonderful bedding and great for eating in as a family. The owner also gave us great recommendations for dinner near by. Close to hiking and water park.

Sehr schöne und helle Wohnung - geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Küche steht selbst für den ersten Kaffee oder Tee alles bereit.Der Balkon ist auch bei Regen nutzbar - das fanden wir ziemlich klasse. Die Kommunikation mit den netten, jederzeit hilfsbereiten Vermietern war sehr gut.Vielen lieben Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Perfect location for hiking in Devils Lake. Your home was perfect for us…comfortable and relaxing. We even got a game of croquet in…something we have played in such a long time.

Family wedding at Devil’s Lake

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding at Devil’s Lake and this house was perfect. Our grandson loved the outdoor play are and we loved the patio to sit under the stars at night. Plenty of room and everything was nice and clean and welcoming. The host was very friendly and helpful.

Family Vacation

Great location near one of our favorite spots in Wisconsin. The place itself is spacious and clean, with the Devil's Lake entrance right around the corner, and a great restaurant around the corner the opposite direction. Would highly recommend for any family visiting Devil's Lake or the Baraboo area. We certainly plan to be back!

The home was clean and inviting. It had everything we needed. It even had beanbags and croquet. It was super close to both of Devil’s Lake State Park entrances.

Best rental in Baraboo hands down!

The rental has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. Very new and clean. All the comforts of home. It’s situated perfectly to easily access downtown Baraboo and Devils Lake. Lots of winery’s and distilleries. Food is great anywhere you go. Easy access to the Dells as well.

Great Devil’s Lake Vacation.

We loved staying at this property. It was exactly what we needed for myself, my husband, my daughter and her husband and two young children. The fenced in yard with the playground and the lock on the outside of the children’s room door were perfect for peace of mind. We attended a family reunion at Devil’s Lake so the location could not have been any better. Thank you so much for providing us with such a clean and comfortable place to stay.

Wonderful!

This was a great property for a girls trip with my daughters and my mom. It’s close to the state park and only 15 minutes from the Dells. Clean, comfortable beds, quiet and a spacious yard. Kitchen had everything we needed plus a grill so we were able to cook. The brewery down the street was a great place to go out too! Thank you for sharing your wonderful property and for taking such good care of it.

Wedding at Devils Lake

We rented this house because we had friends getting married on the South Shore in Devils Lake. The house was perfect!!! It was only 5 minutes from South Shore, 5 minutes to Baraboo...perfect for what we needed. Right near TumbleRock and Balanced Rock Winery. Super clean, easy check in and check out, etc. Highly recommend if you are hiking or visiting Devils Lake for an event.

Ski trip at Devil’s Head

Our group was 2 families - 4 adults and 3 kids (10-12 yrs) and we fit perfectly in the house. House was very clean and well stocked with everything we could have needed. Lots of indoor and outdoor games too! Location was great - 15 minutes to Devil’s head or Cascade, 10 minutes from downtown Baraboo (had a great meal at Driftless Glen) and 2 blocks from Tumbled Rock brewery (also a great time). I bet this house is perfect in the summer as well since it’s a stones throw from the entrance to Devil’s lake state park. Owners are super nice too. We had a perfect stay, thank you! .
