Marvelous Vacation Property

My wife and I absolutely loved this bit of paradise on the Catalunya coast. Set almost directly on the water, it provides a 180-degree view of the Mediterranean Sea, with waves crashing day and night on the rocky shore. It's just a short walk to/from the train station, making it easy to get into Barcelona or up the shore to the Costa Brava. (Despite the proximity of the tracks to the apartment, we never heard the trains go by.) The apartment is exceptionally clean and a great size for two or four people, nicely appointed and equipped with everything you need for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It was too cold during our stay to use the pool(s), but we did walk just a short distance up the promenade to Pins Mar, a very nice oceanfront restaurant just a stone's throw away. Lots of other great restaurants are nearby at the marina, and there's a fabulous small market just a short walk up the hill in the village. Check-in was a snap, and Jose has thought of everything to make his guests feel welcome and comfortable. We definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to experience more than a hotel room in Barcelona and get out and see the rest of Catalunya. Five stars all the way!

Très bon séjour

Tous est fait pour être dans les meilleurs dispositions. L'appartement est parfait et la copropriété très bien entretenue. Un peu loin de Barcelone mais facile d'accès par le train, la gare est à 2 minutes à pied de l'appartement.

Highly Recommended

The apartment was exactly as described in the offer: spacious, very clean, conveniently located 45 minutes train ride to Barcelona, fine dining restaurants are just few minutes walk away, as well as bars and entertainment. Our host Jose was responding within minutes to all our questions, sometimes silly ones. The only thing that, in my opinion need improvement are bath and shower tub. Both of them are very slippery, and I'm sure there are several options to fix that. Thank you Jose for your hospitality!

The apartment is excellent. The window looking out to the sea is truly wonderful. We arrived earlier than expected. Jose was able to arrange the key holder to arrive at the apartment at short notice to give us our keys. Overall, a 10 out of 10. A return visit defo on the cards. Thanks Jose.

Small City Escape From Barcelona

This location is a nugget of gold. It's a short walk from the train station with a convenient ride to the center of Barcelona or toward Girona. The apartment is clean, well-furnished and has a great view of the ocean. The manager is a professional and was quick to respond in all situations. I would recommend this property without hesitancy to anyone seeking a vacation destination away from the big city.

Perfect for a family of four or anyone who wants to visit Barcelona without being in the heart of the city. Train is within easy walking distance and it’s a 45 minute train ride to downtown Barcelona. Great property in great condition.

La vue, surtout la vue

Le vrai plus de cet appartement est la vue sur la mer, et un calme permanent puisqu'il n'y a qu'un passage piéton entre le jardin et la grande bleue. C'est un vrai privilège de s'endormir et de se réveiller au son du bruit des vagues. La résidence et les piscines sont bien entretenues Pour le reste nous avons trouvé l’appartement dans un état de propreté approximatif, les ustensiles de cuisine sont insuffisants et dans un très mauvais état (poêles gondolées, manque de couverts...) Les canapés sont défoncés, les transats étaient cassés. Vrai point positif, la literie de la chambre principale est excellente. Point négatif, la seconde chambre donne sur la route et les trains. Elle est extrêmement bruyante et comme il n'y a pas de clim, on suffoque. Une remise en état devient nécessaire pour redorer le blason de ce chouette appartement.

Nice appartment, great location

The appartment is spacious and has a great view over the Mediterranean sea (bring binoculars to spot ships). It was clean, bathrooms were good and beds were ok. Only downside is the noise of the road and railroad on the back of the appartment but if you keep the windows closed it is no problem. The front side is very quiet. You only hear the sea. The terrace furniture was a bit unsturdy and the frying pan seemed to have been used in combat. Other than that we didn't find anything wrong. There is a large swimming pool in the well kept garden and the beach is a three minute walk from the appartment. The harbour is another three minutes away and you find a number of restaurants there. We found three golf courses nearby. The immediate vicinity isn't very picturesque but there is and there are no shops in walking distance but you can take the train to Barcelona from the station next to the appartment and there is that amazing ocean view..

Sauberes, geräumiges Appartement mit großem Balkon und überkompletter Ausstattung. Kontakt via e-mail mit dem sehr freundlichen Vermieter jederzeit rasch möglich, Schlüsselübernahme und -rückgabe durch den Hausmeister völlig problemlos. Sehr nett fand ich eine Tasse "From Guest to Guest", die dort eingerichtet ist, damit nicht jeder Mieter wieder eine Pfeffermühle, Salz und Zucker kaufen muss. Zentralheizung und Warmwasser werden durch Gastherme betrieben. 180° Meerblick und Meeresrauschen vor dem Fenster, 200 Fußmeter zur Schnellbahnstation nach Barcelona (45 min). Seit April 2018 Glasfaser-Internet, auch Streaming der ZDF-Mediathek in bester Qualität ruckelfrei möglich.

Beautiful Seaside Vacation

My 3 sisters and I enjoyed our accommodation very much. We arrived late and Mohammed was very kind in bringing us snacks to tide us over until we could get to the grocery store. The kitchen was well stocked with all the proper utensils for creating gourmet meals. We were there during the cooler season and although we turned up the heat, we did need an extra sweater and slippers after the sun went down. The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep and on clear days the sunrises were breathtaking. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. The only downside was the internet as we could not share photos with those at home.

Appartement conforme à la présentation, très propre, superbe vue. Bien équipé (matériel de cuisine, électroménager). La résidence est calme, très bien entretenue et sécurisée. La piscine est très agréable comme le séjour. Mohammed est dispo et très pro. Bref location impeccable.

Gut ausgestattetes Appartment in einer gepflegten Anlage und einem herrlichen Blick auf das Meer.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in vollen Zügen geniessen können. Die Gartenanlage mit ihrer üppigen Bepflanzung und den beiden Schwimmbädern ist der geeignete Platz zum stressfreien Verweilen und Träumen. Auch Strände (in gutem Zustand) sind leicht zu erreichen. Für den Besuch Barcelonas nimmt man den Zug, die Fahrtzeit beträgt ca 40 Minuten bis zur Mitte der Stadt (Plaza Cataluna). Zum Bahnhof geht man in 5 Minuten. Die abendliche Stimmung mit dem Rauschen des Meeres ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis, das einen Urlaubstag wunderbar abrundet. Wir können uns gut vorstellen, an diesen Ort zurück zu kehren.

Great apartment

Great apartment in a very well maintained development. Lovely balcony with loads of space. Nothing between you and the sea. 3 minutes walk for the train into Barcelona but the train noise can hardly be heard in the appartment, and not at all in the living room and front bedroom. Apoartment was well equipped and very clean. Good info provided by owner. Would highly recommend this property

The perfect holiday flat!

It's the perfect holiday flat! Right next to the sea and a very short walk from the beach...but it also boasts a nice leafy garden with a lovely swimming pool. José, the owner is very communicative and flexible and Mohammed the caretaker is lovely and very helpful. We really enjoyed our 10 days stay at this place and would definitely recommend it.

Great apartment with fantastic view

Our expectations were exceeded. It was a very clean, practical, spacious apartment. The kitchen was very complete: all necessary (and even much more) tools and appliances (like oven, microwave, washing machine, even an electric iron etc.) were present and in good condition. The view over the sea was spectacular. The neighborhood was nice. The beach is very close and always enough place. There are several, good-quality restaurants in the harbor nearby. However, some of them were closed during the week in the evening. Reservation is necessary for some of them during the weekend. Barcelona is not too far and very easily to reach via the train that stops almost next to the complex. The children especially liked the swimming pool, which is larger than it seems on the photo. We would definitely recommend this apartment!

Lovely apartment, fabulous views!

The apartment and the grounds are lovely. One cannot fault the block itself, the gardens are beautifully maintained and everything that you might need for a relaxing holiday is provided in the apartment. Local train service to Barcelona is an added benefit. If I had to be critical, the lack of local shops and bars was a bit of a disappointment. Jose (Landlord) made sure we were comfortable and looked after.
