The house is beautiful and was perfect for our brief overnight stay. The host was very good at prompt communication with any questions I had before the trip and even following up after the trip! The house is conveniently located, easy to find and has a Nice large off street parking area that was also a win! Strongly suggest this home for anyone visiting Bardstown!

Loved the location with the Short walk to downtown Bardstown!The house was clean, and was nice to have the extra’s added in.…dish soap, laundry soap, tp, paper towels.

I NEVER leave reviews mainly because I’m lazy and have ADHD, but I can’t rave enough about John’s great communication, he’s such a great host and truly cares that you have every comfort while you stay! The house is beautiful, spacious and clean! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is a dream! We made a full Thanksgiving meal (we brought a few things) but John was so helpful to let us know what he had and didn’t have in the kitchen! We told him we were permanently moving in! We’re planning on making this an annual event if we can! Thanks again John for a memorable early Thanksgiving holiday! We will be back for sure!!

House was very clean and updated. Big fenced in backyard with a nice fire pit. Great water pressure! Perfect place for a group of 4. Within walking distance to a lot of great bars and restaurants. Close to plenty of distilleries as well. Mae sure to eat at the Rickhouse and Mammys.

The place was really comfortable and what a great location for checking out the Distilleries. Place was really well laid out and very nice. Beds were comfortable. It was a fantastic home base to look around the area.

The backyard was very accommodating to our pet needs; fences are expensive and can be tricky with local ordinances, but a fully enclosed backyard would make a great situation a perfect one.The house and property were very clean, the kitchen very functionally stocked, bathrooms ready to go with plenty of towels/soap/shampoo etc., TVs were awesome and internet service fully provided for. We really liked how the doors locked behind you and were so easily unlocked with our code. The neighborhood was pleasant and felt very safe. I would absolutely recommend staying at this property!

“Wow!” That was our reaction when we opened the front door! The home was beautifully decorated! And well appointed with everything we needed. The exterior of the home was well groomed and fresh. We spent evenings chatting around the fire pit. We would definitely stay again during future visits! Thank you to John for being such fabulous host!

The house was perfect for our trip to Bardstown! Clean, well-decorated, and located in close proximity to downtown shopping and dining. Also very centrally located to many great distilleries which made visiting multiple locations easy. We will definitely consider for future trips!

Beautiful home and had everything we needed however when we walked in there was an odor, similar to that of a dirty mop. We purchased some Lysol spray which helped. The master bedroom light and ceiling fan didn’t work.One side of the master shower door does not slide open. Also eight brick corner pieces for the firepit were laying on top of the post and need needed cement bonding to reapply. Mentioned these items to the host.

A wonderful getaway next to history and fun!

We had a lovely five-night stay, two tired parents and two kids. The house was clean, stylish, and had all the necessary amenities to make us feel “at home.” Great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants in historic Bardstown. The neighbors were also very friendly and welcoming! The kitchen is great, we made multiple meals together. And enough room for us ask to get away from each other, when we needed quiet time.This is a great house for a family or a group of friends to stay at. And the Bardstown area has so many activities a short drive away. There is so much more to do there than just bourbon tasting!

Fantastic Home!

We had a wonderful stay in Bardstown. The home was beautiful. We had a great time as a family playing games at the large dining room table, and relaxing in the comfortable living room. The beds were amazing, so soft. Everything was perfect. The neighborhood has the friendliest people, and we enjoyed meeting them and talking with them as well.

Anniversary and Birthday Trip

The house was perfect for our time here. It was beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay! The location was great. We were so close to everything. The weather was perfect on our last night and we spent it out back by the fire pit. We really loved the house and we will be back.

Awesome place and location!

This is a great clean, well decorated and functional place to stay within walking distance of downtown. We we would have loved to add another day but maybe next time if it works out.
