“House had everything we needed, just few niggles..... not enough cutlery for 12 people, only 1 teaspoon, few forks but plenty of knives and table spoons. Upstairs attic rooms got very cold in between heating being on. Contacted the caretaker who was very efficient. Found the table tennis table, bought our own bats and family lived the table tennis tournament we did. The aga was great for cooking and keeping kitchen toasty. All in all great stay, would recommend.”

“Great property, and location. House has everything you could need (including a newly added washer and dryer - and not a combination one). Lisa, the owner, is very responsive answering all our questions almost immediately. Bed options and en-suite are great and the play room/lounge upstairs is great for keeping youngsters occupied. Location by high street and train station are ideal and a short walk to the sea. Only marked down the cleanliness one star because some lighter carpets in the property...

“Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. “Property on a council estate, interior first impression was nice and modern. However all soft furnishings well used and uncomfortable, beds were so badly in need of replacing , can feel springs through the old mattress’s We cut short are stay in need of a decent sleep 😴”

“We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. The Pool and Grove cottages and The Gallery were a bit tricky to keep warm as you needed to keep the log burners going and use electric heaters upstairs. “Birthday weekend celebrations in a beautiful historical property close to seaside towns and Eryri National Park. Accommodation was amazing, everything we needed for a fantastic weekend climbing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and a forty minute picturesque drive to the Zip World centre in Bethesda. “Lovely one night stay including a meal in the restaurant. The hotel is in a central location and has free parking across the street. The room was spotlessly clean, and bed linen and towels were a high standard. The kitchen area was well equipped but we did not use it. The meal in the restaurant was superb and would highly recommend it but booking in advance is advisable. Neven, Luke and the team do an excellent job - we would definitely return. ”
