We had a fantastic weekend at Curtis’s place in Barrie while attending my niece's wedding. The home was clean, spacious, and exactly as described on the website. It had everything we needed: from a well-equipped kitchen to plenty of fresh towels and linens.When we first arrived, the house was a bit chilly and we noticed a few small flying bugs. After reaching out to Curtis, he responded right away with helpful solutions and even sent us a few YouTube videos explaining how to manage the seasonal bugs. His quick response and thoughtful guidance made all the difference for everything to be resolved smoothly.The location was perfect, with a beautiful view of the lake, making our stay even more enjoyable. Our family had a wonderful time together and created memories that will last a lifetime.Thank you, Curtis, for being such a responsive and caring host. A great location and very well equipped. We enjoyed the deck, yard and view. It was a perfect environment for a pre-wedding BBQ for our extended family. I just wish that we had booked an extra day or two so we could enjoy the hot tub.Thank you!

Superb Location, Accommodation and Host!

Size matters. Great size for family or friends to gather in luxury and enjoy the lake and scenery outdoors, along with Barrie activities. Curtis was incredibly responsive and the view is to DIE for! The hot tub is huge and extremely clean, with cool lights at night. Sauna, what a luxury! Great fluffy towels provided. Nice touch of a bar fridge for your "adult bevvies". Kitchen is very well stocked. I will definitely be booking this gem again!

Just as advertised

Beautiful property with incredible sunrise views over lake, asxwell as sunsets. Housecfeels like a full spa with the sauna and hot tub. All the amenties of the city are minutes away, while the comforts of lakefront are all in the backyard. Will be coming back for sure. 0 issues with property. Curtis is very responisive too.everythinf was very easy.

Stellar stay!

Our multi-age family group stayed 3 nights and fully enjoyed ourselves. When there were a few little glitches, the host responded promptly and solved the problem. I found him extremely helpful answering questions we had before we arrived as well. A well-appointed kitchen and outdoor area.

Close to everything

We stayed a night to celebrate a birthday in Barrie. The house was perfect for a small group of well behaved kids. They loved the water and layout of the home, plus being right beside a proper beach and big playground. The area was quiet during the day and evening which was surprising and the landscape view from the balcony and backyard were beautiful. Curtis was a great host and assisted with any questions we had. The house has just about everything we needed for a fun and memorable stay. We would definitely come back again.

A warm and cozy stay

Curtis is super responsive to all our questions. The place is clean and tidy as shown in the pictures, with a superb view of the bay from the master bedroom. The sauna experience was excellent and we had a wonderful two-night stay here. Recommended to all!

Fantastic property. Turn key ready.

Great location with tones of activities for adults and children. Lots of room for the whole family. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and a great fire pit to keep warm while enjoying the night sky.

Great Family Getaway

What can I say? Book it! It's an amazing property. Clean and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Little note: the house has a cozy barrel chair with a spectacular view of the lake- best morning coffee spot. The dock is great and the water is clean. The lake was pretty active with boating, parasailing, paddle boarding, etc. There is beach park close by with extra parking and a play ground for the kids. 3 mins away, a little shop with vintage knick knacks and ice cream. Overall, great place to relax, spend time with family/friends and enjoy the water.

The Perfect Weekend Getaway

From the moment we walked in the door, to the second we went to bed, the property was outfitted with all that we needed to visit with friends and sit back and relax. Curtis kindly made sure clean towels, as well as ice, soap, garbage bags, paper towels, expresso pods, etc were at our disposal. There was nothing this place was lacking. Curtis was quick to respond to any questions we had and accommodated in way needed. Thank you from all of us for such a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful home with a stunning view

My Aunts and cousins rented this home for our annual girls weekend and it was amazing! The home is clean and the beds are super comfortable! We especially loved the sauna. The home is equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay. Curtis, the host, was super accommodating and very helpful!

Absolutely stunning place and even not breathtaking view

I booked Curtis’s place for my 30th birthday weekend and we all had an AMAZING time! The house was absolutely stunning and the view was even better! It was such a beautiful spot that you would have no idea was so serene and breathtaking being in Barrie! I got extremely lucky with the weather for my weekend. So spacious for all of my guests, inside and outside! Fire pit and all! One of my favourite things was the master bedroom with its own massive balcony! The only thing I was confused about was the bunk bed room, which I thought had 2 more beds in that room, but enough space for all! I will ABSOLUTELY recommend Curtis’s Barrie Escape and will definitely be booking in the future! OH AND 10/10 fantastic host! So easy to communicate with and 10/10 responsiveness! THANK YOU CURTIS!
