Comfortable but basic.

Comfortable but basic apartment. Ideal location for our requirements, though could be off-putting if you don’t know the area (I do). Surprisingly quiet and feels much safer than you’d think on first impression. Like most serviced apartments, could do with some tlc. A few hours tidying up decor, flooring etc would make all the difference. No iron. Good price overall.

I use this property every time I’m in the area for work as I like my own space. It looks a little rough and ready from the outside but does me the self contained flat is clean and well equipped.

Very Disapointed

Very disappointed. Our first apartment stay. The picture and description used is not what we found when we eventually managed to locate our apartment due to the poor signage and one way systems in the complex. There is lots of dog poo around. The photo used shows everything pristine but it was certainly not like that now. Even the staff had difficulty in guiding us into their office. The entrance up a short flight of concrete steps was dismal and uninviting. NO HANDRAIL. On entering, we found stains on the carpets, cobwebs, unwashed net curtains, dirty windows, peeling ceiling and wall paper and stained ceilings and walls. We had hoped for a hair dryer but there wasn’t one. It was two hour parking outside apt and elsewhere you could park but it was not clearly signed and was on first come basis but not guaranteed. So we left our car at our friends 25 minutes walk away in Walney.

A Rose amongst the thorns

A comfortable and well equipped flat in a massive residential complex. Staff were friendly, enthusiastic and capable. Free parking was available in the centre of the surrounding roads, sufficiently close that the car was visible from the flat. The surroundings were not the best but we spent seven nights with no issues at all and regard the property as offering great value for money.

Very helpful staff. Shame about the property slugs on the bathroom floor and very dirty around the toilet and shower. The bed was so hard I give up trying to get any sleep. I was in lots of back pain.i only stayed the one night out of 3 and couldn't go to the event that I had booked the parking was a nightmare I was told to park on the roundabout about minutes away but I was then told that I could of parked nearer to the apartment after 6 pm. But there was no signage to explane the parking the I think its because they was looking after the people that live there and lots of them. This is one of the biggest complexes I have ever seen very old and dated. I was going to go for a night out and apart from my back being very sore I didn't fancy walking back through there in the dark.The positive was clean bedding good towels.

Appartment was nicely equipped and cosy, pair this with regular cleaning and you get a nice experience. Only problem is beware of where you park!! There is no designated parking for guests, the only bays around are 2 hours maximim stay and traffix wardens are very active in the area.

Usless service but reasonable appartment

The heating was broken - either swealtering, even with all the windows open, or off. We were told maintainance would be around next morning at 8.00. just before 10 we complained they had not come and we were told they would sort it. Maintenance eventually called my mobile mid afternoon and said " It is like a furnace in here" and said turn it off and we will try to contact you tomorrow....! That was the las we heard of it. We complained as we left some days later. People were always nice and said they would help - but nothing happened. The apartment was small but reasonably smart. Crockery was minimal but (just) sufficient.

Holiday stop-over

Not an ideal place for a holiday as the surrounding properties looked rundown, with old furniture etc outside doors. There were blood stains on one of the towels and stains on a pillowcase. Parking was a problem as the free parking was streets away, the close parking was for 2hrs with the threat of a Council Parking Attendant checking during working hours

My stay was ok, when I arrived nobody was there and I needed a code that I haven't received. Fortunately a telephone number I saw a mobile number on the door and everything was sorted over the phone. The flat was comfy but a bit old, the fridge was full of ice and the mattress I had was a bit old.

Get your head down - not much more.

Perfect for a base if staying or business locally, property seems very tired from outside, inside is only a minor improvement. Staff very welcoming and with sone investment couple very a great place.

Very good apartments.

Maritime apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is quite small but has everything in it you need. Bathroom is very clean and of good quality. The shower is big and powerful.

Enjoyable stay

Very nicely furnished basic but adequate for the trip good heating and apart from a few noise neighbours and seagulls and enjoyable stay. Plenty for amenities near by too
