“A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were in room 3 which had a challenging set of stairs, no lift due to nature of the historic building. Very atmospheric place bang in the middle of the town great access on foot to all amenities. A 10 minute stroll to the Castle and the excellent car park. Breakfast was first class value. “Entrance to car park is very narrow if you have a big car. Front door closed at 10pm so would have to access from rear of property up steep stairs to fire exit and enter with fob. We were back by 9:45pm and we could not buy a drink as last orders had been called 🙁. But clean, comfortable room and central so would stay again for price.”
