“Excellent service from the start. I had request a slightly earlier check in as i was traveling from Glasgow, my room had been cleaned to an exceptionally high standard for my arrival. This was greatly appreciated as I had travelled to attend a funeral service. The hotel is only a 2 min walk from Cleethorpes railway station, so very easy to find and get to. The hotel is immaculate and beds are comfortable. Great local hotel. 5* ”

“This is a very special place. Lovely accommodation & very spacious - it was the little extra touches that I liked; blankets in the lounge so we cold snuggle up, cafetiere coffee, little bottle of milk in the fridge. The beds were really comfy.”

“Greeted by a lovely receptionist who gave lots of information about the stay. Nice modern room with aircon and a nice size shower. The bed was on the hard size for me. I can see why the room came with earplugs two packs would have been nice since I had to give them to my partner so I was left hearing others move about. Nice not to worry about parking. Will stay again.”

“The bed was so uncomfortable, the springs are poking through the mattress. To top it off the room and bed is full of bed bugs, I woke up every morning with bites on my legs and my partner had 7 bites all over his face. See previous comments from guests who suffered the bed bugs and shared images of them. Terrible and disgusting. The rooms need deep cleaning. Be warned ”

“Stayed in the big family room on the top floor Sun 11th Feb with my wife, daughter and dog. The room was very clean, huge smart TV, tea/coffee facilities and very spacious! We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. Lynn, the host was very nice, friendly and helpful.. showed me around all the facilities and showed us how to use the key codes. “We book a daily room with a private bathroom we book this room due to having a 3 year old with us an needed easy access to a toilet (1 double bed and 1 single bed), on arrival we were at a different hotel and the room has 3 single beds without a private bathroom it was shared with everyone on the bottom floor”

“A very relaxing holiday in this comfortable accommodation with great lakeside views and a wide variety of bird life. There are 5 pubs in Barton, some with good food and ales only 15 minute walk away. Sunday lunch in the newly renovated George Inn was particularly tasty and good value. Walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds , a trip to Cleethorpes 30 minutes drive away, and a quick bus caught just down the road took us to Hull in 30 minutes for a day round the old town and marina. Highly recommended...
