Lujosa cabaña frente al río en el río Frying Pan - 1 cuadra de basalto

Lujosa cabaña frente al río ubicada directamente a orillas del río Frying Pan. El Guest Cabin se encuentra en la misma propiedad que Lodge at River's Edge y consta de una cocina totalmente equipada, sala de estar con TV por cable e internet inalámbrico, un dormitorio con una cama queen y un loft al aire libre con dos camas individuales. También hay un sofá cama en la sala de estar.

La cabaña fue construida originalmente por los trabajadores de Colorado Midland Railroad en 1896, fue restaurada un siglo después en 1996. La cabina fue renovada nuevamente en 2005 y 2015. La cabina está decorada en un elegante estilo de montaña e incluye ropa de cama de lujo, cómodas batas, almohadas de plumas, calefacción radiante en el piso, chimenea y todas las comodidades que esperaría de un hotel agradable. La puerta corrediza de vidrio se abre a las vistas y sonidos del río Frying Pan corriendo. Los huéspedes de la cabaña pueden pescar en el río Frying Pan frente a la cabaña y también río arriba hacia el albergue principal.

El interior de la cabina fue remodelado recientemente en 2015 y nuevamente en 2018: reemplazamos la escalera con una hermosa escalera personalizada al desván. Además, la cocina ha sido remodelada con encimeras de granito, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y pisos de madera. Otras adiciones incluyen A / C, lavadora / secadora, lavaplatos y un baño mejorado con ducha y tocadores dobles. No se han pasado por alto detalles.

La cabaña se encuentra a solo una cuadra de la encantadora ciudad de Basalt. Es un hermoso y rápido paseo de 1 minuto a todos los restaurantes y tiendas ubicados en la ciudad. Idyllic river cabin!

Wonderful stay from start to end. Close to all the amenities. Amazing river a stone’s throw away from the front door. Friendly and helpful host. One of our favorite places now in Colorado.

Wonderful

The location is superb - short walk to wonderful restaurants and shops, but leaving is hard because of the fabulour Frying Pan just steps out the door. Already planning a return, it can't come quick enough!

Remarkable Refuge along the River

Terrific alternative to a boring hotel room. Perfectly kitted out cabin along the banks of the Frying Pan. Perfect for couple and kids or 2-3 friends. Walk to restaurants and shops in Basalt in 3 minutes. Easy drive to Snowmass and rapid transit parking lots. Loved our stay here as a base for skiing in the valley. Would be extraordinary in summer.

Fantastic location on the river!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Christy’s cabin- you can’t beat the location. We enjoyed lounging by the river and walking into town to the Tipsy Trout. The kids loved the hammock and it was nice being able to fish right out your door. The cabin was very clean and cozy!

Perfect little retreat

We stayed at the Basalt cabin for three nights and it was perfect for the two of us. We loved the setting and the easy walk to restaurants in town was a plus. 1 short block and you are in town but feel like you are away from everything at the cabin and have privacy from the main house on the property. The owners are super friendly but do not bother you. Their dogs come for a visit daily and we loved that since we missed our dogs at home. You won't be disappointed. The cabin is clean, comfy and cozy and well appointed. We cannot wait to return.

Fall leaf peeping, fishing, painting and relaxing

This is a great location. Close to town but feels more remote. Easy walk to restaurants in town, short drives to fishing access and not too far from Aspen proper and Independence Pass. It is a small but comfortable cabin and nicely decorated. Picnic table and seating right out your door next to the creek. It is situated along the drive to the main house which you can see but felt private enough. They have very cute and friendly dogs who like to say hello. The freestanding gas fireplace heats up the cabin nicely on chilly evenings. There was both a Keurig and drip coffeemakers. The drip has a built in grinder so can take whole or preground beans. It was perfect for the two of us for a few days away to take in he sights, fish, paint and relax.

Awesome cabin very close to town!!!

My nephew and I really enjoyed our stay. The cabin location is convenient and a very short walk to downtown Basalt. it had everthing we needed and more. We loved having the windows open and hearing the water from the river. I met the owners and they were very nice and helpful. The dog visits were an extra bonus!!!! Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely cabin.

Favorite Trip

We look forward to this trip every year. From my fly fishing husband to my teenage son to my little daughter we all enjoy being here! Walking in to town for breakfast, having wine by the riverboat night. It’s very cozy and a perfect family trip or romantic trip for two. I’m torn between telling people how wonderful it is or not telling anyone to keep it a secret! I don’t return many places that we travel because I always love something new. This is my one exception….. love it

Wonderful location

Our family of four enjoyed our stay in this wonderful location! The cabin feels secluded and private but is just a couple blocks away from downtown Basalt. It was convenient for us spending time in Basalt, Aspen and Snowmass. The frying pan river is just steps from the door and we enjoyed hearing it at nighttime as well. The cabin is small but very comfortable bed, nice shower/bathroom and kitchen is well stocked for cooking. It’s great for a couple or family with 2 kids. The host family was very helpful and friendly. We look forward to staying again!

Wonderful relaxing time in Basalt!

The cabin was exactly as advertised and perfectly met our expectations. The 1BR, 1 BA + Loft was all that was needed for me, my wife and 2 teenagers. to have a wonderful time. The town is literally only a 5-minute walk away with ample restaurant options. The view of the adjacent river during the day and the sound of the water whooshing by at night make this location really special. The cabin was very clean, linens were nice and plentiful, the bathroom was spacious and accommodating with the double-sink. From here, it's just a 10-minute drive to Snowmass and 15 minutes to Aspen. We would definitely stay there again.

Trout fishing!

Fantastic spot to fish the Frying Pan. The location was perfect, right on the river but still a block from town. The hosts were great and their puppy CJ was a joy to have come visit us.

Graduation Getaway

This was a great opportunity to unwind and relax as the river front did not disappoint. It’s a quaint little spot and the walk to town was a short distance. For some great food, stop in at Heather’s or the Brick Pony Pub. Make plans to head to Aspen to enjoy hiking at Maroon Bells but make sure you make a reservation or see, Todd at the T-Lazy 7 Ranch to rent e-bikes. If you enjoy a little water excitement, contact Aspen Whitewater Rafting (AWR) to head down the upper Fork River … this will definitely give you a thrill. We were first time rafters and had a blast.

Small piece of Heaven.

The property is truly stunning. Cabin was the perfect size for my dear friend and I. Walking 10 yards to the frying pan river was fabulous. Also, it’s a short walk to town. Absolutely loved this property and will definitely be back!
