“Solo female travelers BEWARE!!! I’m a 48 year old woman and I naively thought sexual harassment/assault was pretty much a thing of the past for me. I thought the husband (Mario, a much older man) of the nice lady (Pina) who was running the place while their daughter was out of town was being friendly when he offered me a jar of homemade blackberry jam. I was wrong. Under the guise of wanting me to get my phone for translation he followed me into my room where he put his arm around me and...

“Very clean property in the hills. We appreciated the video of how to find the apartment, since the roads going up can be confusing. While we wish there was A/C, we still enjoyed the breathtaking view of Orvieto from the patio. It was easy to get to town via car. The hosts were friendly.”

Each are thoughtfully decorated with antiques and hand painted ceilings. The bathrooms are lovely with modern provisions, but also elegantly...
