“Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! ”

“My stay at the Fishersville, VA Hampton Inn was a wonderful experience. It's located right off the exit of Interstate 64, and yet you'd never know it from the quietness of our room. The hotel was updated and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. ”
“This hotel is beautiful and lovingly preserved. Every staff member we met was friendly and went out of their way to answer questions, especially about the building’s history. Breakfast at the Second Draft was perfect (get the iced collagen coffee!) and we really enjoyed the spa. The historical walls are literally a foot thick, so you can’t hear a peep from adjacent guests’ rooms. There’s even an art gallery on the third floor. Can’t wait to visit again!”

There was no mention of the two sets of stairs at the front entrance. There was no mention of receiving a code for entry to property until after I booked a non-refundable booking. I had sent a query to the property but did not receive an answer before booking later the same day (the day of arrival).
