The location is perfect if you’re looking to visit the Prairieville or Denham Springs areas. It’s close to tons of food and grocery shops, only 10 minutes from the children’s museum and university area. For the price and quality, however, I’ll be choosing a hotel in the area on future visits.Host was friendly and responsive, however the instructions were confusing and contradictory in places. The clothing dryer in the unit was broken, though the host graciously provided a credit to make up for the trouble of having to take our wet clothing down the block for drying.We booked late, so I’m not certain if this rental is typical of the area — this is clearly an older house (not in the charming way) that was minimally spruced up for rental. Broken blinds, dark living room, uncomfortable beds, uneven flooring upstairs and some decor still has the clearance tags from Marshalls. Stairs would be difficult to secure at top for a small child.Completely functional otherwise, so a solid three stars.
