“We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch, paddling around the lakes, watching wildlife, cooking, and playing ping pong. Would recommend. Just a note (which was also noted in the listing so it wasn’t a surprise) but even in early season we found a number of ticks so just be careful and check yourself. We still had a wonderful time and everyone commented on how great the house was.”

“It was blessed to use this property to host a fall retreat with a bunch of my friends from my Bible city group. Definitely enjoyed the scenery around in the woods and all the accommodations met our needs as far as space and comfort are concerned. “We stayed during our weekend racing Barry Roubaix in Hastings. This was the perfect place to retire to in between long days of riding. Beautiful setting. Open and airy inside and out. Parking multiple cars was a touch challenging but that's more due to our inability to carpool better. :) I would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“This house was perfect for us. It seemed like every little detail that could make the trip better had already been thought of. The fireplace was beautiful, the game room was fun, and the home was comfortable. The nearby ski resort in Otswego wasn’t open, and the kids didn’t even mind. There was plenty of room for those in our group to be in different areas of the home. A+”

“We had a great 3 nights at the cottage. Kitchen was well stocked, water toys and pontoon rental was appreciated and Mark was a great communicator. The reason we did not give 5 stars is because the cottage is dated and the sun porch is musty.”

“Shower upstairs has sticky door. Wouldn't open from inside without some extra efforts. Also, the shower needs railing for older folks. Could be dangerous. One of the guys said they "slipped" and didn't have anything to grab. Luckily, they got their balance and stayed up... overall though an amazing property.”

“Our bridal party was coming from different cities and at different times/days. Our house was just as described, clean, cute and plenty of room to spread out to do hair/makeup. The kitchen was full stocked with everything you could need. I was able to make a great breakfast for the girls. Our host was wonderful and communication was great! I would stay there again when in Battle Creek!”

“We had alot of bree ze for the 4 days. Tough to have a campfire. We fished alot. Took my boat for rides and fishing. Fished alot off the dock. My wife and i are retired. We brought 6 grand kids . I taught them fishing and kayaking. Swimming too. Everyone had a good time. There was room for everyone.”

“This is my second time at the property. It’s just as incredible the second time as it was the first time. I hosted our staff retreat there. 11 of us ladies fit very comfortably as it is so spacious. We had a wellness retreat. The pool and hot tub, amazing grounds and incredible house made for the perfect setting. I highly recommend and the hosts are always excellent and accommodating!!! Don’t think twice, book it!”
