  • All you need is your gear! This home is located on Caney Creek near the Y minutes away from East Matagorda Bay and the Gulf! Bring your boat, your kayak or just enjoy fishing/crabbing off your pier in a prime location!

    This recently remodeled bungalow offers 3 bedrooms 1 bath and a 1/2 bath downstairs for your convenience! Comfortably sleeping 10 guest! The Primary is a king sized sleep number, one bedroom offers a queen over queen bunk bed, the other bedroom has two queens.

    Take a walk or drive down our beautiful beach and witness the gorgeous sunset and rises Sargent has to offer!

    Beaching, Swimming, Surf Fishing, Fishing the ICW, Kayaking, Boating, Breath Taking Views, there is plenty to do! We cant wait to have you!

    As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide you with the below protection. The cost of this protection has been included in your rental rate and fees and covers you for accidental damages during your stay.

Beautiful & Roomy

Spacious and beautifully decorated beach home. Lovely porch with a view of the creek and the fishing pier which is lighted for night fishing. Equipped with everything we needed for a great weekend!

Get away and fishing

Great place to take the boat and was able to leave it docked. Fished on the pier as well and caught a keeper Red Fish! House was clean and well stocked for anything you needed. Great location as well.

Lovely place. Very comfortable, extra refrigerator ,storage and 1/2 bath downstairs very convenient. Pier and lights on the canal for fishing opportunities. Easy check in and out. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This house is perfect for our 3 generation fishing get away. The house had everything needed, easy access to the IC, friendly neighbors and lots of fish to catch. We are looking forward to staying here in the future.

Great place

Great place to stay! Was easy to launch our fishing kayaks. This was my 2nd visit to the area and by far the better place of the two. We have family who live in Sargent so, we will be coming down more often.

Great place!

Awesome place to stay! AC is perfect and house feels like home! Neighbors are good people and people around Sargent are very friendly. The house is very clean and the peer is awesome for fishing and crabs! If you are looking for a cozy place to stay this place is nice!

Great weekend

Property was perfect for a weekend away fishing and crabbing! Bait shop close by. Ate at local crab pot restaurant. House was clean and easy to check in and out

Had a great time with the family. The host was so amazing and friendly. It seemed like we knew each other for years the way we were communicating. I will definitely be back for a party of ten people. The fishing pier was wide enough for all of the family to cast out and fish, clean and relax

Perfect house and location!

Great location on the Creek for fishing off the dock and quick trip to the bait camps or fishing holes. The house itself was nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and freezer had an ice maker. There were plenty of towels . Definitely will be back as that’s the best house we’ve stayed at in the area!

It was awesome!

We rented this house for a couple nights for a fishing and beach trip. It was absolutely perfect! The pier was great for fishing and came with its own green light. They supplied crab traps for those that want to do some crabbing. The rooms were very nice and larger than I thought they’d be. The grill worked great. Sergeant beach was literally right down the road. Overall an awesome stay!

Enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time as a family of 9 celebrating a grandson's birthday. The home was extremely clean, tastefully decorated, no odors & roomy enough inside for all of us to feel comfortable! The kitchen is well-appointed, & there are several outside seating areas. The a/c was set on 72° & kept the home cool & pleasant! The neighborhood during our stay was very peaceful. We will definitely consider staying here again, should the need arise. Another plus...Topwater is VERY responsive to any & every concern/need. Excellent hosts!

Great place for families

We enjoyed our stay. The rental is smaller than the pictures seem, but the three bedrooms accommodated our party of 6 well. The bunk bed in the first bedroom is a queen, but while spacious was quite noisy. We enjoyed the short trip to the beach, and had a great time fishing and crabbing off the pier. The neighborhood was tranquil, and the landlord was super fast in delivering new batteries for the remote.

Great Stay on Caney Creek

I stayed 4 nights because I wanted to fish on a dock at night with an overhead light for attracting fish. Fishing was a lot of fun because I caught a redfish and some keeper trout. The house was immaculate and very comfortable with plenty of seating and tasteful decor. The top floor balcony had nice outdoor furniture and outdoor lighting was plentiful. I will book it again.

Perfect for two couples that love to fish

The property was just as described on the website and was perfect for our needs. The pier was nice size, there was a green light for fishing at night and a cleaning station also. we only ran into one issue with the property and that was the water level at the end of the pier was only about 2.5 feet at high tide. My boat pulls a foot and a half of water at least so we couldn't launch it and leave it at the pier overnight due to the falling tide. As long as your boat doesn't pull too much water the place is perfect!

Great location & fishing

Our stay at this vacation rental was absolutely perfect! The location on the creek was beautiful and just a short distance from the Intracoastal and Matagorda Bay. We loved spending time on the dock, and the fishing lights were such a bonus. Early morning the creek was full of speckled trout. The house itself was spotless, with very comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen that had everything we needed. The downstairs sitting area was perfect for our group to hang out and get our stuff ready for a day of fishing the next day, and the breeze made it even better. A huge shout-out to TopWater Real Estate as well, their team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always easy to reach. I would 100% recommend this home to anyone looking for a great getaway. We’re already planning to come back and do some fishing this winter.
