What an amazing little cottage! We were there that weekend to celebrate my Aunts Wedding and Mardi Gras. Bay St. Louis has grown so much in the last 10 years, good and bad. It’s such a cute weekend-getaway town, with lots of adorable shops and amazing food. Sycamore House and Mockingbird Cafe will always be my go-to when visiting. This cottage is off the “main path” so you aren’t dealing with the main st. traffic, but still only blocks away from the fun! The cottage was much larger than I anticipated, full living room, kitchen and dining area. Lots of closet space as well as a great built in vanity area. Screened in porch was great and a must with gnats and mosquitos. This is a shared property. Owners lives in the front of the property, with the cottage in the behind. Parking is available, there is a wagon to help with unloading goods as the walkway is gravel. The Hosts were very friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. They left some towels out for our golf cart one morning because of the morning dew on the seats. Very thoughtful. Thanks for such a great stay! It was fun to catch up after all these years and to see the family and friends that still live there

We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to going back. Very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Close to the beach and old town shops. But also far enough away from the train and the bars so very quiet. I’ve stayed in bay St. Louis frequently and this is definitely my new favorite.

The cottage was cute, clean, and very comfortable. The amenities were everything needed for a stay. The cottage was close to friends locations and Main Street and restaurants. It was a very pleasant stay. We would definitely consider renting again. Great Place!

Being a retired couple we welcomed the quiet and spacious room…and the luggage cart! Perfect location and distance from beach and also the food and drink establishments by the docks. Pet friendly also.

Cozy Living Close to the Beach – A Relaxing, Well-Located Gem

I had a fantastic stay at Cozy Living Close to the Beach! The home was just as advertised—immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and stocked with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.The location was ideal: tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but still just a short walk or quick drive to the beach, with great local restaurants and shops close by.Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout, which made everything even easier.If you're looking for a peaceful retreat that's close to the action but still feels like home, this is it. I’d gladly stay here again!

What wonderful space to stay in! Plenty of room for a couple and to have a couple over for drinks. Everything about this cottage is top notch: the furnishings, the kitchen, the decor and….the art work! The outdoor garden-entrance is so charming. Adorable, comfy and quiet

We stayed two nights in this adorable spot. It's close enough to the beach and downtown Bay St. Louis to be walkable, but just far enough away to be quiet, even on Memorial Day weekend. The house is perfect for a couple--one bedroom but plenty of space and a little screened-in porch. Over the years, we have stayed in multiple places all over Bay St. Louis and will definitely be checking availability for this spot first in future.

We very much enjoyed our brief stay at Joy's cottage. It was cozy, comfortable and just a short walk from the beach and the Old Town historic district. A perfect weekend getaway.

Excellent choice

Would recommend this cottage. Cozy and clean with a nice garden area to enjoy as well as a screened in back porch for morning coffee. We loved the location. It was quiet, and felt safe and secure. Loved being able to walk 3/4 of a mile to the old town section of Bay St Louis to the shops, bars, and restaurants. Beach and pier were 1/4 away. Joy our host was friendly and helped with recommendations. Will definitely stay here again.

Quaint Peaceful Welcoming Cottage

Celebrating 30 years of marriage calls for a comfort, inviting space. We felt embraced by the cottage. The walkable distance to quaint stores, eateries and the beach gave us the easy going pace we needed. Thank you Joy
