Holgate
House was clean and comfortable. Outside shower was spacious and easier to use than the indoor shower which is very small. Nice rental for 2 people and pet.

Perfect beach get away
We had a great time! The perfect size for just two. My 2 favorite things: the deck (perfect for coffee/wine) and the close proximity to the beach! We will definitely be back!

Best and most relaxing LBI getaway!
It is my 2nd summer staying at Lisa’s cozy LBI cottage. I loved every minute of my stay per usual. Close proximity to the beach, quite end street location, cottage with every essential you need for a week vacation down the shore! So easy to communicate with the host, smooth check in, everything in the house was working perfectly. I and my husband along with our yorkies had a perfect summer getaway. We cannot wait to come back next year already. Highly highly recommended!!!!!

Quaint beach cottage
What a lovely stay we had in Holgate! Our beach cottage was everything I hoped it would be and more. Lisa was very accessible if i had questions and could not have been nicer! The walk to the beach was less than 2 minutes. LBI has always held a special place in my heart. Thank you again, Lisa!

Perfect beach cottage
Rented both homes so our family could stay together. Everything was perfect! This property is very cared for and well maintained. You’ll find many nice details and the decor is adorable, very beachy. I wish I was still there! Everything you need is there…a grill, outdoor furniture, beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes! Great home in a great location.

Birthday Week at the Beach
My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our needs. It was extremely clean! It was well stocked with cookware although we didn’t need it on this trip. Lisa was helpful when questions came up about the coffee maker and we left earbuds and she contacted us so we could turn around and get them. This property is located close to the beach. There were bikes for us to use. These came in very handy! We were sad to leave.

Great location
This is the second year I stayed at this property with my adult daughter. We love the location, very peaceful and quiet street, with a great deck that faces the East. The property owner is always kind and friendly and helpful! The home has sheets and towels and cleaning supplies even though we bring our own it’s nice to know they are there if we need them! Whoever goes there I’m sure you will enjoy your stay like we did!

Peaceful Beach Cottage in LBI
We had a wonderful stay at this property….so many items were included (towels, sheets, beach chairs, bikes) that we just had to bring ourselves! Amazing location on the last street on Long Beach Island…didn’t even have to cross the road to get to the beautiful beach. We enjoyed having cocktails out on the deck after a refreshing outdoor shower. The space itself is charming, clean, and relaxing. Everything we needed was there!

Peaceful
We loved the location! Home is located at the southern end of the island. Nice, quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Rental is located on second floor with spacious deck facing the ocean. Washer and dryer were available. Spacious outside shower! We also loved that no renters will be downstairs.

Amazing little place!

Hideaway in Holgate
We had a lovely stay at Lisa's Coach House in Holgate. The house was absolutely charming, the location was awesome, and Lisa was attentive and responsive. The deck was lovely with the morning sun for coffee and nicely shaded in the evening for dinner and drinks. The beach was an easy walk and the neighborhood is quiet and private. We could not have been happier and will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Holgate Home
Lisa's property was in a perfect location. The ability to pair the stay in the cottage with my sister's stay in the main house was ideal for a family gathering. Lisa was very responsive to questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great beach house
House was perfect for 2 people. Great location, close to beach and wildlife reserve. Nice porch and well stocked with bikes, beach chairs, etc. We also rented the larger front house for more family so was nice to have the bungalow for some quiet and relaxation.

Quiet Peaceful Restful
Location, location, location. If you want peaceful quiet and walk to the beach this is it! We loved the pristinely preserved fifties style apartment with knotty pine paneling and red linoleum countertops. There is lots of storage in the large bedroom closets. The space is perfect for two people. The bathroom is small and will only fit one person at a time. We mostly showered outside after the beach. We ate out in Beach Haven, the next town to the north. The hostess, Lisa, was kind and welcoming and responsive. She provided excellent instructions and help.

AMAZING Beach house!!!
Lisa’s coach home was perfect for us!!!!! (2 adults and 2 small yorkies) Located in the quite cul-de-sac in Holagte, beach is literally 2 min walk from the house. The house was very cozy, cute and comfortable. Had every essential item needed for an amazing vacation (outdoor shower, bikes, beach passes, beach chairs, towels, grill, outdoor deck with seatings, awning, and cookwares etc). The central air worked great which made our stay extra comfortable. We obviously had the best time ever and enjoyed every minute of our stay there. We couldn’t have asked for a better summer beach house stay!!!! I particularly loved the spacious outdoor shower which also had changing area within the shower!!! Very thoughtfully designed! Storage area seemed to have many different entertainment/fun stuff! Lisa was very easy to communicate and accommodating! We will definitely be back here next year!!!! Highly highly recommended!!!!

Quaint 1 bedroom and with great location.
Lisa was a pleasure to do business with from the very beginning. She got back to me with any questions or concerns I had immediately. She made the whole process smooth to the very end. The place was cute and quaint. The place very clean and everything was there as promised: sheets, beach gear, bikes, beach passes. The location was great. Being a block from both the bay and the beach was great for both us and our doggy. There are bathrooms at the foot of the beach which is huge plus. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to rent again.

Perfect for two people
My husband, myself and our small dog stayed for week. Location is great, place clean, pet friendly, owner easy to deal with. Would be too small for more other than a night. The fees/taxes make it pricey considering only one bedroom. Great having washer/dryer. Didn’t use grill was moldy. Lots of bicycles needed many repairs so bring your own. Very quiet neighborhood.

Cottage in Private dead end road Holgate
The property was great.. location awesome.. outdoor shower awesome.. the indoor bathroom very tight.. I would only recommend 2 adults and 1 child.. we had 4 adults and it was tight but we managed.. great deck area. The owner was reachable and responsive.. plenty of beach chairs and bikes.. would recommend! Loved that it was pet friendly !

Awesome Property
We absolutely loved our stay in the coach house. The location was perfect at the end of the island. The beach was just a short walk away. There were many great restaurants with live music every day. Lisa got back to us very quickly if we had any questions. I highly recommend this property!

Great location!
We had a really nice stay at Lisa‘s place. The bed was comfortable, there was lots of hot water with good water pressure, and it was very cozy. Lisa was easy to get in touch with and she even got us some extra lamps when we said we wanted to read and didn’t have enough lighting. All in all I would recommend this place to a couple as it’s not quite big enough for four adults Location is wonderful on a quiet cul-de-sac just several houses from the beach.

South Beach Haven
Great for a quiet beach stay. The place has a very "beach cottage" feel that we love. The owner is great and easily reached if there are any questions or issues. This was our third summer at this rental and we intend to go back next year.

Not only is this property probably the best deal in Holgate, it may well be the best deal on the Island for a couple. Well apportioned, clean, close to the beach, and the owner was excellent to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Great cozy comfortable place with a lot of extras ie. bedding, beach chairs, bikes, etc. Not fancy and definitely brought me back to the memories of beach houses when my family rented on LBI back in the day . Owner very gracious and responsive w any questions. Location quiet and safe for bike riding around the neighborhood for the young kids, close to beach and bay and so nice to be able to bring our dog😊

Classic Beach House
Beautiful cottage, classic LBI knotty pine. The owner was super responsive and everything was as advertised. Less than 1 block walk to the beach. Chill quiet area short drive to the Beach Haven attractions.

Great cozy home near beach and bay!
Our family of four had a terrific week on LBI. The home is small, but with two little ones on the pullout it worked well. The location cannot be beat. Best spot on LBI. Quiet and peaceful. Just a short walk to both beach and bay, and a short drive to Beach Haven. Our kids could ride bikes to their heart's content on the quiet street. Just a great week. Thanks to Lisa who was incredibly responsive.

Cozy, quiet beach get away
Everything you need for a peaceful vacation. Nice location close to ocean and bayside for gorgeous sunsets! Lisa is an attentive host when needed, but also allows her guests the ability to enjoy the beach house and all the area offers. Just bring clothes: beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, linens all provided!

A nice little place with a great location
Great location, comfortable, nice outdoor shower and deck. Cleaning crew could have done a better job- we kept finding dog hair. Otherwise, it was exactly what we expected from the listing and photos. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating.

Really charming apartment in a quiet part of LBI
Very cute, old-school, wood-paneled apartment with great light and a nice selection of cooking utensils. Really lovely deck with a retractable awning where we spent a lot of time. It's a few blocks from the entrance to the main beach but a shorter walk to the wildlife refuge beach which has no lifeguards but is much larger and less crowded. A small bay beach and playground are about half a mile away. Comfy outdoor shower. This part of LBI is very quiet - except for one deli, to get to any restaurants or shops you need to drive at least 15 minutes. The only concern we had with the apartment was having to avoid the noseeums (teeny, itchy flies), which we were able to mostly avoid when closing all the windows from dusk until morning, but shutting ourselves away from the ocean breeze was disappointing. Not sure if other houses in the area have the special noseeum screens or if it's a problem all along the shore. The owner was very responsive to our multiple questions.
