First Family Vacation

Nice home away from home
The decor was pleasant and kitchen was beautiful. As others reported, there was noticeable dust in air vents and bathroom shelves, but I imagine this is because of the location (corner lots tend to accumulate more dust than others), and the carpet and furniture could use a deep clean. Otherwise, property manager was responsive and helpful and the house is situated in a great location.

Wonderful Girl's Weekend
6 friends and I stayed here for a weekend and had the most wonderful time! The table in the kitchen is bigger than you expect, there were plenty of sleeping arrangements for everyone, having 3 full bathrooms was perfect, and there are so many fun things in the garage to use for biking and the beach. Truly had a wonderful stay and will absolutely stay again!

Great location
The location is perfect, in the heart of beach haven and walking distance to everything. It was plenty space for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids). The house needs a little TLC (couches were a bit old) and lots of sand on floors and showers (but i guess it should be expected for a beach house). We spent most days out and at the beach, out do dinners and really only used the house to sleep. We would rent again!

Spring Trip
My wife spent four days with our son and his girlfriend. We enjoyed our stay. The house is clean, comfortable and up-to-date. It is also within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and the shops.

Outstanding Townhouse
We had an outstanding time staying at this property centrally located in Beach Haven. Walking distance to some of our favorite LBI restaurants. The townhouse was extremely comfortable and cozy. We will definitely plan on staying here again. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome spot!!
Absolutely loved this property & would highly recommend! Stayed for the weekend with my husband, my cousin & her husband. House was super clean, beds were very comfortable & loved the decor. Enjoyed using the fireplace & sitting around the kitchen table…. And location was perfect. Went to Tuckers for dinner Friday night, Buckalews Saturday night & of course the Chicken or the Egg for breakfast. Everything was in walking distance. Looking forward to staying again.

Great house in a perfect location!
We had 4 adults and an infant stay comfortably. The house was very clean and in the perfect location. Once we arrived, we were able to walk (or bike) everywhere. Definitely recommend this property to families or friends, with or without children!

Good Location - Stay is Lacking some Love
This unit is in a good location but the property itself is in need of some TLC. The fireplace doesn’t work, the upstairs TVs don’t work and we couldn’t get in touch with the property manager. The mattresses and pillows look like they’re ancient —- nothing and when I say nothing is provided it’s not. Definitely paying solely for location here.

Nice space in a great location
The property is conveniently located close to the beach as well as plenty of food options (b'fast, lunch and dinner), bars, liquor store and a well-stocked grocery store. There was plenty of space for 5-6 adults. Everything was neat and orderly and all the basic kitchen items are provided, including a nifty Keurig that uses pods OR ground coffee (house doesn't have a grinder, so you need to bring ground coffee). Not noted in the listing is the fact that there is an iron, ironing board and 2 blow dryers. The house has good water pressure and super hot water. We were there off-season, so it was quiet and calm in the neighborhood, but I'm sure it's lively during the summer. As noted, towels (and sheets) are not provided, and that includes hand towels in any of the bathrooms, so be mindful of that when packing (the disposable paper ones from a dollar store would be great for the owner to supply. Just a suggestion.). The bed pillows are a bit sad and could use a good machine washing (or be replaced), so you might want to bring your own. I would recommend this property for both adults and families.

Family Wedding Weekend
For a two night stay for a rehearsal dinner and wedding, this property was perfect! My family and I were able to come in and out of the property very easily, parking was right out front, and the townhouse was spacious. My grandparents were able to navigate the stairs, bathrooms, and TV with ease. There were supplies in the kitchen if needed as well as an iron and steamer which came in handy for the groomsmen. We also enjoyed having a bathroom on the first floor for guests and not having to climb the stairs each time, even though the door did not lock. My only "complaints" for this property was that I wish in the listing they suggest to bring your own pillows and hand towels. I had brought sheets and bath towels but after washing our hands there were no small towels besides the two in the kitchen. The pillows in all bedrooms were overly used and very flat. This understandable as it is a beach house but if known, I would have brought my own. Only 4/5 blocks from the Sea Shell and 2 blocks from the Gables which was perfect as that is where the wedding I was attending was. Thank you for the stay it was lovely!

Beautiful Property but......
First off, this property is a beautiful Victorian structure and is well appointed inside and the location is AMAZING! You can walk to everything! There was no problem contacting the owner, who in turn referred me to the property manager for a couple of immediate problems which was the gas grill wasn't working and no 2022 beach badges when we got there. This property needs a serious deep cleaning. The refrigerator freezer side is dirty. The ice maker does not work and was too dirty to put ice in the container. The air conditioner vents and filters were filthy. The outside of the cabinets all dirty. We turned on the oven to bake vegetables and the whole house filled with smoke. There was a pool of grease in the oven. This was reported. Outside, the grill had tins and leftover items left behind along with a pail of cigarette butts which was not ok with children around(also says this property is smoke free?). The beautiful wainscoting in the kitchen and living room was filthy. I believe the floors are only vacuumed especially the bathroom floors never washed. The towel bars and towel rings not wiped down. No incidentals such as garbage bags, one sponge for the week and 2 dish towels. We had to wash the comforters because they were dirty, yet there was also no comforter for the pull out couch to be found. There was no instruction booklet listing garbage and recycle days and no information for the bike locks. Also, this property claims to accomodate 8 people. The front porch only seats 2. The back porch had a table in the driveway that accommodates 4 and a small table next to the grill that seated 2. The seating in the living room could only seat 4 people comfortably, thus our family was never able to be outside or sit together indoors. Beware it says there is bikes. There is only ONE beach cruiser, ONE mountain bike, and a tandem bike which no one was interested in (these bikes have seen better days, but they do work!). There is 5 chairs that could use a little TLC. Despite all the negative, we had another great year in Beach Haven. I did not report all this to the property manager because we were here to enjoy each day. I'm happy to provide additional information or photos upon request.

Thank you for your feedback. Response from property manager: Wow. Jess and Jarad have been cleaning that property for almost 5 years and I've never had someone complain like that, Including the previous owners. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Not to mention the fact the I was in constant communication with that particular renter and she never mentioned any of that. (Plus there are extra comforters in all the closets) Some things of note: The outdoor seating has never an issue for anyone. Obviously we try to accommodate, but the front and side porches can only fit what we have there now. Every guest gets a fresh supply of garbage bags, hand soap in each bathroom, dish soap, a roll of paper towels, 2 toilet paper rolls in each bathroom, a starter set of coffee pods for the Keurig, freshly washed bath mats, and 2 clean kitchen towels. They're not made to last the entire week. Just to start them off so they don't feel rushed to go shopping. Their expectation that we should provide enough household goods to last the entire stay is a bit much. There is no way she actually washed the comforters because none of them fit in the washer at the house and there are no laundromats on the island. We do wash all the bedding once per season though.

this property was just what I needed for a Friday wedding, a total of 3 couples.The 3 bathrooms works perfecly.1 bock from the main street( resturants, drugs etc.) Literally walking distant to everything, one minor issue was tv's in 2 spare bedrooms I could'nt figure out. very nice place

This house was the perfect place for my family consisting of my husband, two children, and mother-in-law. It was close to both the beach and the bay with ample parking. The best part was the ice cream shop directly across the street!

Great House for a Family Gathering
This house is ideally located a block from good restaurants, a great grocery store, and some very pretty historic houses, as well as only 3 blocks from the ocean. The downstairs setup allows cooking and conversation and the second floor (where all the bedrooms are located) is spacious. The house is far enough from the main road on LBI to be quiet. The house was clean and the property manager visited us very soon after we checked in to make sure everything was in order. He left us his card and told us to get in touch should we need anything. No problem connecting to wifi - just remember to bring your own sheets, pillowcases, and towels. All in all a great place.

Don't do it!
I have a family of five and we are not typically hard-to-please people, but do NOT risk renting from this owner. She never sent me the access code for entrance to the home and my family and I were stranded outside for 5 hours on check-in day. VRBO eventually told me to book a motel for the night after spending hours on the phone with them, which they've yet to reimburse me for, and 8 hours later the owner finally reached out with the code after I got my 3 kids settled into the motel. The next morning, we returned to the property and the owner ignored me for the rest of the week when I asked if she was going to refund us for the night we couldn't stay there. A week later, she still refuses to respond to me. Oh one more thing... the listing promised beach badges. However, the badges there were from last year, and we were stopped on the beach and had to buy 2022 season beach badges... Another stressful, embarrassing experience. She refuses to even acknowledge that she ruined a whole day of our vacation, causing incredible stress. We looked forward to this all year. I am a teacher and my husband is a software developer/project manager. We are hardworking, honest people and remained calm and patient the whole week hoping she would make it right. But it appears she couldn't care less.

As you can see from all the reviews, we are very concerned that our guests have a wonderful time at our house. As owners we cannot be available 24/7 so we have a local property manager to quickly handle any situation. Instructions for access & for contacting our property manager are in several places on the VRBO website, & are emailed in a VRBO welcome letter several days prior to your visit. You failed to contact our property manager when we were unavailable. Nest reported the access code email was sent 2 weeks before your visit. We are sorry about the expired beach badges & replaced them after you let us know. We will gladly reimburse you for any beach access expense during your visit due to this oversight.

Sister time.

Perfect get-away weekend!
Great place with lots of amenities including a gas fireplace that took the chill off! Everything was clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. One caveat: I'm glad that I read the fine print after I made the reservation because I learned you have to bring your own linens.

My friends and I enjoyed our weekend winter getaway in this beautiful home. The rooms are as pretty in person as they are in the pictures. We loved the fireplace—and the kitchen was gorgeous (not that we cooked!). The owner was very responsive to our questions. We will definitely be back!

Stayed in a house in this condo group just before COVID with the other couple; very close friends. This unit has a gas fireplace; real enjoyed it. Other than the kitchen pipes tending to freeze: perfect. By the way; the condo manager was responsive.

Wonderful Stay -- Owners were fantastic
This house is a great location. We went in the off-season for a wedding and it was perfect for our family of 6. The only thing better than the house was how wonderful the owners were. They were easily accessible before and during our stay to help with any questions we had. You can tell they really want their guests to feel comfortable and at-home, and we certainly did. Walking distance from all the great spots in Beach Haven! Thanks for a great stay!

Overall fantastic stay!
This property had everything we needed for a long weekend stay- great location and all the amenities. We loved having the bikes and kitchen had everything needed for basic meal prep. Walking distance to the best of Beach Haven and a grocery store. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Great Trip
I highly recommend this rental. Hector and Christine were very responsive and went above and beyond to ensure my family and I enjoyed our time in LBI. This rental is in an excellent location and within walking distance to restaurants, arcades, water park, amusements, shops and the beach. The home included a beach buggy, chairs, umbrella, bikes and beach tags, which were all so convenient for our family. The home is beautiful and we’ll stocked.
