“Although the room was on the small side it was adequate with the added bonus of a sea view. All staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good selection of food at breakfast as well as food being served all day if required.”

Four spacious bedrooms, living room with an open fire, sunny boot room just off the kitchen, ample hot water, central heating and cosy lighting throughout. The house was so close to the coastal path with many pubs, restaurants, fish and chips within a short drive. We would definitely visit again.”

Everything in the room - curtains, cushions, carpet - seemed new and very promising but the attention and service that should have accompanied that good start was non-existent. At no point during our stay did we meet our hosts or any staff apart from bar staff who, although very pleasant, showed no sign of knowing that we were guests staying in the 'ghostly' property where, once the bar was shut, we felt like we were the only, and not very...

“It is very compact but the space is adequate. There’s very little storage space in the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped (though no cafetière) but not well laid out. That being said it’s comfortable - especially the sofa. It’s also well placed in Cemaes for easy access to the high street / beach and car parking is about 100m away. The patio is a lovely sun trap. ”
