“Every thing was perfect, loved my stay”

“I didn't have breakfast but the evening meal was very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Varied menu. Good service. Unfortunately, the hotel could not find any evidence of my Expedia booking amd I had to pay a last minute, higher price, for the night.”

“Good (heating) temperature control, center of the town. Walking distance to work place. Private carpark for parking. Clean room etc.”

“Cannot say as i did not stay due to the manager trowing me out for letting my partner use the toilet the got me charged with drink driving for trying to sleep in my car as did not have anywhere else to go”

“Simple, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. A bit worn in places (furniture, ceiling), bed a little sagging, kettle a bit grotty, and water pressure inconsistent, but all in all fine. Close to numerous supermarkets and walking trails and next to the worthwhile Dock Museum. ”

“Beautiful cottage with a lot of space outside, a seating area by the stream, a great location near Millom and other Lake District locations, and a hot tub! (Note: The hot tub use is an additional £40 flat fee, which was unmentioned on Hotel.com listing, but is on the official Sykes Cottage page)”
