“The Bailbrook Lodge is a very old, traditional hotel, shabby but spotlessly clean with lovely white linen. Our en suite had a rolltop bath. Rumour has it the room next to ours is haunted but we heard no noise whatsoever during our stay. As it is pretty close to the centre of Bath we got a taxi in and out to the sights rather than take the car. Staff were very friendly and I would recommend a stay here. “Room and bathroom were extremely clean and well kept. Pub is separate from the rooms but about 20 meters walk away and they serve food which is convenient. Very quiet area. Comfy beds. Plenty of parking. Easy drive to Bath from here, took about 25 mins. Complementary tea and coffe sachets with kettle and biscuits. Full length mirror and then another mirror in bathroom and another infront of the desk area. Good size bathroom with well working shower which is nice and hot. ”
