I didn't sample anything the hotel had to offer other than the room I was in. It was one of the "Boujee" suites, room 29. On first entry it seemed lovely. But it's a good from far, far from good kind of deal.
First thing you realise that it's very dark. There's no option to brighten the room. Reading anything requires a torch unless you're directly under the main room light. The lounge area of the room is so dark it's hard to even see the sofa or table in front of it. You definitely need a torch to figure out which is shampoo, body wash or conditioner in the shower.
The bathroom only had a curtain separating it from the bedroom. Good luck if you need some privacy in there. Better hope your partner packed some earplugs. Air freshener too because the windows don't open. No fridge in the room. The bath is a nice touch and so is the water which falls from a concealed pipe in the rafters above. It's unique and memorable. But the noise as the water fell into the bath is irritating. The bath isn't comfortable to sit in either. It'
The worst thing though is the bed. It's obvious what people come here for. The beds will see some action. My mattress was soft and badly sunken in the middle of the mattress. It's clear what section of the bed endured the most activity. It gave me back pain. 3 hours after checking in, I left for home and didn't come back until it was check out time 2 days later.
I made complaints about the bed but nothing was done about it. Never again!
