  • Finished in 2014, above-garage apartment, full kitchen with all amenities, one bedroom (plus queen size fold-out couch in living room), screened in porch and open deck as well. Sleeps 4. Smart TV so bring your passwords for however you view TV entertainment.

    Overlooks Font Lake . Screened-in porch makes it feel like a "tree-house".
    10-15 minute walk to town, one mile to beautiful Donegal Bay with sunset views and beautiful sandy beach at that location.
    Take the Beaver Island Ferry or fly with Island Airways from Charlevoix, Mi to reach Beaver Island.

We loved staying at the tree house. It was so quiet and peaceful....just what I needed. The location was beautiful on Font Lake and a perfect distance from the ferry dock, restaurants, and shopping. We loved watching the hummingbirds and listening to the loons. I highly recommend staying here. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Ready to return

Wonderful location. Very clean and wonderful outdoor balcony. Enjoyed kayaking on font lake. Only one mile to the best beach

This cozy apartment was perfect for our stay on Beaver Island. Clean, comfortable, the screened in porch is a bonus. We heard the loons every day, hummingbirds at the feeder. Easy bike ride into town to the east, or to Donegal Bay Beach to the west. We had a car too, but bikes were easy and fun.

Sehr schöne Wohnung für 2 Personen mitten im Wald. Beim Aufwachen am Morgen sieht man durchs Dachfenster die Bäume.Sehr gut gelegen. Mary Beth und Mike sind sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Great apartment

I have stayed here multiple times and always enjoy the apartment. It is close enough to town but in a very peaceful setting on an inland lake. Kitchen has everything you need. Absolutely love spending time on the screened in porch and hearing the loons. Great communication with Mary Beth and Mike.

Quiet Rest and Beauty

The apartment has all one needs, almost new and close to town or beaches, in a private woodsy setting and a view of the lake. It's inviting and comfortable, with enclosed and open porches, welcoming anyone to enjoy slow paced life, walking, biking. Owners are especially helpful.

Peaceful, Quiet "Treehouse" Location

Great location about halfway between town and Donegal Bay. Very serene and relaxing. Especially loved the screen porch in the trees! Hosts Michael and Mary Beth are very responsive & helpful; on site, yet you have privacy as the apartment is located above their freestanding garage. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a week's stay. Highly recommend!

Tree House

Nestled in the trees, it was like living in a house! Great Swing by the water to hear the loons and to see deer in the distance. We took a 'road trip' to hear the Jazz musician, Dave Bennett, perform at the Island. Drove around the island and made all the 'stops'. Great time! Karen & JIm

Best hosts ever!!! They went above and beyond to make us feel more at home - stocking the pantry for us, fresh fruit basket, fresh flowers, treats for the grandbabies … Daily updates with fun happenings in the area, the best eateries (they were right), and asking if we needed anything at all, and if we did, presto! Our family of 8 adults plus 3 under 3 had ample room and loved most to hang out at the gorgeous pool and use the bbq. So much fun!! Kitchen is fully equipped, with extras like hot plate, blender, crock pot etc. Everything you need. Plenty of beach/pool toys, towels etc. Close to beach, a short drive to Disney. I know if you need anything at all Denise is there in a flash. The whole family looks forward to returning! Thank you, Denise & Homa for opening your home to us!!

Beaver Island Getaway!

All was in wonderful order! Beautiful spot snd accommodations!!!! Only bad thing is that I inadvertently came home with your bread knife! I will order one from Amazon and have it shipped to you if that is ok!!! Was all just wonderful - would love to come back again sometime!!!

A welcome respite from hustle and bustle

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment has everything needed and feels like a cozy nest. The homeowner was available but in no way overbearing. Thanks for picking us up at the airport!
