The North Devon coast is just a short distance away and long stretches of golden sand at Croyde, Saunton and Woolacombe. For a slice of local history, head to the town of Great Torrington, otherwise known as the ‘Cavalier Town’ from the civil war of 1646. Other nearby attractions include the traditional fishing village of Clovelly, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor

The accommodation adjoins the owner’s house but ensures privacy throughout your stay. The open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner is light and spacious with a serene and cosy feel. In the compact kitchen, you will find an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Enjoy a romantic meal for two at the dining table in the window before settling in for the night in the lounge area, which features a cosy wood burner and Smart TV. The king-size bedroom with en-suite wet room overlooks the pretty garden through dual-aspect windows, which in turn fill this room with plenty of natural light.

Outside, there is a picturesque patio area surrounded by beautifully stocked beds and planters. Relax in the sunshine with an evening drink as the water feature trickles away or take a walk through the owner’s raised bed and fruit garden. The wider garden is a acre of stunning formal garden with lawn.
