Carol and Brian were superbly hospitable and helpful hosts. The location was a lovely, peaceful, verdant oasis, close to wonderful hikes and walks, with easy access to the nearby towns of Port Moody and Coquitlam for shopping and other conveniences, as well as easy access to public transportation into downtown Vancouver. The carriage house was very comfortable and serene, with all the amenities of home. It truly a special and memorable place to stay, and we really look forward to visiting again soon.

We absolutely loved our stay at Brian and Carol’s place …. From their immaculate and well appointed carriage house to the amazing and peaceful location right on the water. They generously shared their canoe with us to putter around the spectacularly beautiful area including a jaunt to Deep Cove for lunch. The hikes to Jug Island and Sassamat Lake aren’t to be missed.Their hospitality and attention to detail are second to none!

Best Place Between Forest & Sea

This is our second time staying at this charming carriage house in Belcarra next to Indian Arm. Very close to many nature trails and convenience of shops and eateries. Very quiet neighborhood but not too isolated. Will definitely stay here again soon!

Beautiful carriage house in lovely Belcarra

We can't say enough to express how pleased we were with the accomodations and location of this beautiful apartment. Our host, Brain and Carol, were very gracious and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The property is beautifully furnished, making you feel at home and not staying in a rental. We hope to visit again and will pass on this wonderful property to friends and family who may visit Vancouver in the future.

Beautiful accommodation

Stayed for 10 nights. Property was spotless and comfortable. Brian was an excellent host. Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay.

Adventure and relaxation

We had the most wonderful stay. Canoeing, relaxing, cooking and hiking. Brian and Carol are first rate hosts and lovely to chat too. The apartment and area really exceeded our expectations.

Lovely place, close to everything!

The rental was cute! It had everything you needed to stay for a decent vacation. I mostly was in and out of the city, but the car ride to the train station and beyond was very quick and easy! Brian and Carol were lovely and made sure to check-in and make sure you had everything you needed!

Perfect Hideaway

Brian & Carol are the most caring hosts, we felt sad to be moving on. A most amazing apartment with mountain and sea views, beautifully and thoughtfully equipped, nothing was too much trouble, thank you for a memorable stay.

Delightful

This carriage house far surpassed all of my expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice! Close to hiking trails with beautiful views, parks and the delightful city of Port Moody. The hosts are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here. We plan to return soon!

Lovely wooded getaway

After the bustle of Vancouver, this was a nice relaxing week in the wilderness, but close enough to town that we could get groceries, go out to dinner, and even get transportation all the way to Whistler. Attentive property owner and a good accommodation, with a full-size kitchen, full bath and laundry machines, which saved us some packing. Right on the water and very close to several good hikes. Lots of fun!

Cozy coach house

WE were given great information how to get there and hiking suggestions! The hosts were keen to our needs and willingly provided. They have a canoe and bikes we could use. That was an awesome service. The area was very clean and quiet!

Charming retreat for nature lovers

I needed a place to stay for a week while in the area for work and this carriage house in Belcarra was perfect. It was exceptionally quiet and allowing for a peaceful retreat after work. Brain and Carol were welcoming and ensured the place was clean and well-equipped. Brian offered many suggestions for trail runs and hikes which I took advantage of. I look forward to returning.

Perfect

We spent 3 weeks on honeymoon in this idyllic location, with a short break to Whistler. The location is great for getting the Canadian outdoor experience, as well as the city life, as the transport network is so good to Port Moody and the bus service to Belcarra outside the door is great. There is so much to see and do but not enough time, so will definitely be back. Brian and Carol are the perfect hosts, with nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend

Magical!

We loved our stay. The Carriage House is simply perfect - so comfortable with all the amenities you'll need. If you love nature, you can't beat the network of breathtaking trails in Belcarra Park which is literally across the street. A public bus runs every half hour so you can hit Port Moody's brewery row, enjoy some delicious beers and food truck ware, and return to this remote location with ease. A simply stunning location, and Brian and Carol were very attentive and generous hosts too. 10 out of 10!
