“I had a great stay! The hotel was very clean and in a fantastic location, making it easy to get around. The staff were incredibly helpful, and everyone in the restaurant was especially lovely and welcoming. It was also great to have the option of on-site parking. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Clean spacious flat although it's on a very busy main road. We booked it because of the garden but it was unusable because it was totally overgrown so nowhere to sit or stand. Another point I would like to make is that for safety we think there should be a hand rail on the stairs as they are quite steep and there is nothing to hold on to. Location is central to going places in the area.”

“Beautiful guest house …very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. ”

“Turned up to be told the manager was out and wouldn’t be back for half an hour at least, so we couldn’t check in. So had to sit and wait (we were supposed to be getting ready for a wedding). Manager treated us as though we were some sort of nuisance wanting to check in. So after nearly 45 min she arrived and asked for a £200 deposit… this wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the listing.
