Girl's Weekend for Vintage Market

Sisters and cousins (10) gathered for a fun weekend away and a trip to the Vintage Market. The house was perfect for our needs! We planned meals and the kitchen was great for our prep. Bedrooms were perfect and accommodating! We enjoyed the deck and fire pit as well! Great stay!

Girls Trip

Lovely views from the deck. Beds were a little firm, but we slept. Driveway is hella steep, but manageable. Great space for watching movies, playing games, and just visiting.

Tornado help

We lost all power in a recent tornado and last minute booked this house. Called Vacasa and recd the lock box code so we could get right in. House is beautiful and easy to find.

Nice house. Clean. Rented for a funeral and the owner let us check in early to get ready for the services. Recommend this property. Especially if you are renting for bike trails

Quiet & convenient location for birding, biking & art

Upper deck perfect for morning coffee and bird watching. Half block to get on biking/hiking trail. Easy drive to Crystal Bridges. Clean and plenty of towels. Downside was poorly equipped kitchen for a group that loves to cook together.

Family gathering

We had a great time celebrating a college graduation. The house has a large open main floor, comfy beds & clean bathrooms. We wish there would have been a bathroom downstairs. The deck & bonfire were awesome! The other living room & basement furniture is not very cozy, but it worked out ok. Thank you!

Meetup with friends

Property was in a great location for us and had plenty of beds for our group. Kitchen was well stocked (though several small items such as the can opener and potato peeler were broken). Diahwasher also was not working which would have been nice to be notified about prior to arrival as we would have brought paper plates. Property was clearly a cheap flip so it has its quirks but it was very clean and functional. We enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed the area.

Cleaning crew is not as good as should be. In general, I don't think owner maintains property like others I've stayed in.

It’s fine. Nothing special, but it’ll do.

The driveway is steep. The furniture in the living room upstairs is rigid. Whoever laid the flooring did a poor job. The hot and cold are swapped in the guest shower. There’s no bathroom downstairs, which is unfortunate. Other than that though, the house worked for its intended purpose. As I said in the title…nothing special, but it’ll do.

Great Location/Incredible Views

The McGarry Retreat location is prime. Half block away from entrance to bike/hike trail, short distance to restaurants and services, quick access to highways/byways to Bentonville, Rogers, and Eureka Springs. The house is furnished with charming and fun style (love the bicycle posters throughout the house!), with lots of beds to accommodate multiple guests, and available and cleared garage to park in. There are several king and queen sized beds in the four bedrooms. Two couples were in our group - so we stayed on the first floor of house and only occupied two of the four bedrooms. If there were more than 4 people in your group, this awesome house could accommodate at least up to 10-12 persons easily and not feel crowded. We were able to travel to Crystal Bridges in Bentonville for the day, Eureka Springs for the day, and then just hung out at McGarry Retreat balcony watching the birds, deer, and chipmunks antics! Loved the outdoor views the valley and hills from the balcony and deck!!!

Bella Vista Trip

Decorated well. Quiet and peaceful on the deck. Located in a scenic area of Bella Vista. However, upon arrival the unit smelled musty and a fire detector was chirping in a locked closet. (This issue was resolved shortly after.) We were disappointed in the deck area that was dirty with a lot of bird droppings as the cushions were not usable and the patio lights were broken and not working. There was no propane in the gas grill but that issue was resolved within 24 hours. The dishwasher did not work and owner was not responsive with a solution. We hand washed dishes throughout the weekend. We feel if these issues had been addressed prior to our arrival, it would have been a more enjoyable experience.

The McCarry

Very nice, host responded very quickly to requests. Just a suggestion maybe add a ceiling fan in the lower level bedroom with 3 beds. It was very stocked. Definitely, would stay again.

A great property in a great location. Although we didn't hit the trails (at least on a bike) a perfect spot for mountain bikers, and the decor reflects that. Recommended.

Perfect spot in Bella Vista

Great location to the local trails. Comfortable house with everything you need for your stay. Our kids loved the selection of board games. The garage came with a bike rack to securely store our bikes. The owners thought of everything for this house! Extra toothbrushes, towels, blankets, soap, shampoo… EVERYTHING you would need to feel just like home. We will definitely try and book this property again!
